Economic and community development Charities

We are a Sports and Community Centre for the Leven Valley District of Haverthwaite and surrounding villages. Activities include, Athletics, Cricket, Youth Club events and various other community activities.

Provides a community rural bus service.

To give donations to General Charitable Purposes including animal welfare in the UK. Also Overseas aid and famine relief.

We raise and distribute funds to carefully selected development projects in the developing world. We also organise educational events locally, often hosting talks by people who have been working on projects we have supported.

Supporting the link between Marlborough, Wiltshire and Gunjur, The Gambia. Through exchange, environment enhancement and education. Providing opportunities for personal, professional and community development. Broadening minds, and developing friendships and other links.

Educating young people in Agriculture, Home Crafts, Country Life and related subjects. Provide and promote facilities for recreation which will improve their condition of life and assist in their development, self-reliance and individual responsibility so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of the Community. A variety of fun, social and physcial activities where people aged between 10-26 years old can be a part of the club.

The Trust organises fund-raising projects such as raffles, social events, 200 Club and sponsored walks.Money raised is invested in specialist charity funds.Funds are used to help people in the agricultural and horticultural media in financial difficulties through illness or job loss and those needing training for new skills.

Provides local events of interest to the population such as guided walks, research , lectures and exhibitions relevant to the history of the town and area. Monitor planning applications relating to Hythe to ensure high standards of planning and architecture . Carry out regeneration projects in neglected areas within the Town , working with the Town and District Councils.

The charity,both directly and in partnership, delivers education and training to people living in the socially deprived wards of Skelmersdale. It also provides information and guidance. The charity provides open space for use by local communities and it provides low cost office accommodation for social enterprises and other local voluntary groups

Humanitarian Aid to Children with special needs

Worksop YFC offers a rural youth club for young people between 10 and 30 years old, providing educational, sporting and social opportunities for members and others in the community.

TO HAVE AVAILABLE A HALL AND FACILITIES FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES WHICH INCLUDES DANCE TEACHING, EXERCISE CLASSES, THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS, MONTHLY CHURCH SERVICE, RESIDENTS MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES.

We provide classical music concerts for the public in the local rural area. We also grant an annual scholarship to an outstanding local music student and organise masterclasses with professional musicians for local school pupils.

Provide meeting rooms, kitchen and office space for church, church school and community activities.

Village Hall. Situated in a rural area and offers a central point for the residents of that area. Offers social events; across the range of age groups e.g. Brownies and Rainbows to the Over Sixties club; interests, balllroom dancing, quilting; resouces, houses the mobile post office. Operates as a venue to raise funds for services and provision in the village.We now offer post office services

A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION RAISING AWARENESS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE

ORGANISATION OF VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ELDERLY, HOUSEBOUND AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN CROYDON. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE SHOPPING BUSES, LUNCH CLUBS, EXTEND EXERCISE CLASSES, SOCIAL EVENTS, TRANSPORT TO HEALTH APPOINTMENTS, CLINICS AND HOSPITALS, BEFRIENDING AND NON TECHNICALADVICE SERVICES. SMALL DOMESTIC ODD JOBS ALSO UNDERTAKEN BY VOLUNTEERS. WE DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL GRANTS
