KADRAS operate as a society in the village of Kelsall in Cheshire.Main activities are publishing a village magazine every 2 months and other publications include recently a village walks leaflet+village directory.Provide theatre entertainment, arrange walks, village hanging baskets, litter picking,bursary for young people, make grants to other village societies.

To protect and enhance the visual and historic environment and setting of the town of Rye and its surrounding area, to improve the quality of life for residents, visitors, businesses and their employees, to stimulate public interest in the area, promote high standards of planning and architecture and secure the preservation, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest.

Helping people resident in the parishes of Dalbury, Mackworth, Markeaton, Mercaston, Mickleover and Radbourne under the age of 25 in need of financial assistance in preparation for and during employment, with the secondary purposes of assisting residents in those parishes of any age who are in need.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

The charity supports local charities operating in health and welfare. Also individuals, mainly teenagers and young adults, in their personal development. It also supports international charity work in the third world and the Rotary Foundation.

Preservation, conservation, development and improvement of beauty, history and character of Stamford.

Promote the Hereford cattle breed and pedigree breeding of the cattle. Organise workshops for new members to enhance their skills in exhibiting at agricultural shows, help and advice for members on the breeding and requirements for beef production etc. Providing sponsorship at agricultural shows with prize money and advertising members herds etc and providing breed information to general public.

TAKES AN OVERVIEW OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF SADDLEWORTH, YORKSHIRE, PART OF THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF OLDHAM AND ATTEMPTS TO INFORM AND GUIDE THE ADMINISTRATORS OF THE BOROUGH AND THE PARISH COUNCIL IN THEIR DECISIONS RELATING TO THE AREA. ALSO SUPPORTS A SERIES OF LECTURES AND INFORMATIVE VISITS OUTSIDE THE AREA, MAINLY TO ENGENDER GOOD PRACTICE IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DISTRICT.

The Foundation makes grants to qualifying persons or groups of persons to advance their education (social and physical ),but not for post graduate studies.Grants are restricted to persons under the age of 25 and who are permanent residents in Ribbleton, in the City of Preston, the Parishes of Goosnargh, Grimsargh, Haighton, Longridge and Whittingham and the former Urban District of Fulwood.

A rural youth movement for young people aged between 10-26 years. Members can gain confidence and get valuable skills in drama & entertainments, public speaking, sports competitions, stock-judging and cattle showing, dancing. Life skills are learnt by arranging and conducting meetings, social events an fundraising.

Fund raising to maintain a village hall facility and to provide opportunities within local rural community (Ireby and locality) in general and particularily among the female population for personal development and community relationships.

Litter Sweeps on a regular basis.Paint and service old water pumps and railings around public areas that are not the responsibility of the local authority.Finance 50% of the costs of 40 hanging baskets to brighten up local shopping areas during spring and summer.Cut grass and clean up scrub areas that are not the responsibility of the local authority.
