The charity relates only to anyone resident in the parish of Nether Denton, Cumbria and can grant aid to either individuals or organisations to support the education of children of the parish and their general development (whether through school, college, or voluntary organisations). Grants can also be made for the prevention and relief of poverty and for community development.

Edenbridge Evening WI is a local branch of the National and West Kent Federations of the WI. Our aims include the education of women and girls for the public benefit in all areas including local, national and international issues of political and social importance; music, drama and other cultural subjects; agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare.

Weekly club meetings both educational and social

We are a youth group that meets weekly to undertake a range of different activities. We attend talks, take part in sports, undertake training, enjoy fun and games, raise money for charity, and compete against other young farmers clubs. The club is open to anyone aged between 10 and 26 years old.

Ross Educational Foundation offers grants to students up to the age of 25 whose homes are within the boundaries of Ross Urban or Ross Rural Parish Council. Grants are awarded for books, equipment, etc, to students following higher education courses & those learning professional or skilled trades. Students studying music & other arts may also apply.

Safeguard and improve the environmental quality of Petersfield and the surrounding countryside, safeguard environmental amenities and enhance communication between local public opinion and local/public bodies.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

From our income received from rental of agriculture land we apply this to grants to students for further education - universities etc.

The charity provides and maintains a building for the use of the local community. Various fundraising events are held during the year. Social functions are organised for the community so that people may meet and mix with others, a very important part of life in a rural community.

1. Serving homeless people in Kingston when facing a crisis situation, primarily at the Joel Centre in Kingston

Research and education about local heritage and preservation of the built heritage of Barton upon Humber. The society develops archives and interprets local history through a series of information leaflets, building plaques, lecture and talks.

To encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Burton upon Trent. To stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the town and its surroundings. To encourage the preservation, development, improvement and beautification of features of general public amenity or historical interest.

Needs of parishioners are considered at meetings three times a year, or by telephone contact whenever problems occur. Rental for Deane Helplines and Group Insurance premium for volunteer drivers in the Corfe Lifts Scheme are paid. Vouchers are given at Christmas to parishioners in need. Contributions towards mowing costs of the recreation ground are made annually.

Holds public meetings and writes letters to relevant authorities to protect and conserve important local amenities.

The advancement of education in agriculture and primary food production, food processing and food marketing by all appropriate means.

Our activities are very much community based. A small fishing village, with an industrial history of ironstone mining, and steel works, only a small specialised part of the steelworks remaining (steel brought in by road/rail, from Teesside). High number of unemployed/retired in an area of social deprivation. A good and tight knit community, the village hall provides for the needs of the community

we run a rural club for young people between 10 and 30, to support their physical, educational and social development

The Charity is established to provide support to the educational work of the Warriner School Farm being part of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust, Bloxham Oxfordshire. The Charity aims to raise money to make grants to the farm for specific purposes. It also leases land which it makes available to the Farm. The Farm provides educational service in conservation, agriculture and animal care locally.

The mission of the Pan African Book Foundation, is to enhance the quality and standard of education in African rural schools through the provision of books and to promote works of African origin. We aim to collect under one roof all publications written by African people, which would include works written by people of African origin and also others.To promote and celebrate the works of Africa.
