The promotion and encouragement within the Wetherby area of high standards of architecture and town planning, improvements in public amenities and to influence the development of the built environment and culture within the town. To hold lectures and exhibitions on the above topics.

Community activities/fund raising to finance upkeep of village hall & other events.

To monitor and advise on planning matters in the Borough of Wellingborough and encourage good architecture, to make Wellingborough a place of which to be proud.

Currently raising funds for sanitation improvement, clean water and medicine for community. Also set up creche for children - now operational. Buy second hand clothes and export them for the community. Agricultural activity to alleviate famine. Buy fertilizer for the community - very important this. Will carry out many development projects in future.

A rural youth movement for members aged between 10-26 years. YFC offers young people the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in public speaking, sports, cultural skills like dancing, drama, entertainments, pantomime and stockjudging, skills for life, training, social events and meetings.

The main purposes of the WI are to enable women who are interested in the issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to advance their education in citizenship, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. It seeks to give to women the opportunity of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

Provision of financial assistance to those in need or sickness who live in the areas of Llangollen Urban, Llangollen Rural and Glyntraian Community Councils either directly or through other organisations

Grants up to £500, often more, to community groups, self-help groups etc. in Hull and its immediate neighbourhood, for specific purposes. St Clement is a very small village, we use the parish hall to keep the local community together. Other than the Church, we do not have anywhere to meet (no shop or public house). We hold fund raising events to cover the costs of electricity-water and general maintenance of the building. The hall is available for hiring by any group or individual.

Our aim is to promote civic pride in Malmesbury by conserving its built environment, recording its history and maintaining the Riverwalk and Jubilee Garden. We co-operate with the Planning Authority to ensure policies are appropriate for the town and scrutinise & comment on planning applications.

Activities & events to advance the education of women for the public benefit in all areas including: issues of political & social importance; music, drama etc.; all branches of agriculture, craft, home economics, science, health and social welfare. To promote sustainable development for the public benefit. To advance health and citizenship for the public benefit. Monthly meetings in Wolsingham.

To finance leisure and sporting activities for inner city young adolescents and their families to provide opportunities for extra-curricular activities and community engagement.

Working to improve and develop conditions of rural life

Share Trust seeks to encourage rural Christian church communities in Africa. Its activities include: leadership seminars, provision of Christian books and materials, assistance with church buildings, pastor ministry development and relief of poverty projects.
