Grant making to specialist orginisations working on Climate Change. The trust does not suggest making applications unless asked by the trust. (Please note the trust has since April 2015 changed focus away from special education and community development, and may not respond to requests unless a request has been asked for by the trust)

WE HELP DEAF AND HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN AND ADULTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND OTHER CARERS, WITH SERVICES AND SUPPPORT FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING, PERSONAL AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT, EMPLOYMENT AND INCLUSION IN THE COMMUNITY.

The Foundation continues to have a commitment to its objects and is actively supporting the development of new researchers and research students through its activity.

The management of agricultural land and the village Green.The making of grants for educational purposes of the youth of Quainton.

The Society is a civic society which seeks to secure the protection and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the Newbury area. It promotes high standards of planning and architecture and is frequently consulted by developers and the local planning authority. A regular newsletter is published and events including lectures, town walks and Heritage Open Days are organised.

The primary aim is relief in sickness to residents of the former urban district of Swinton (South Yorkshire). The trustees have a wide choice in the kind of help that can be provided without overlapping the statutory services. Items could be provided either outright or on loan (the latter in the case of expensive apparatus inc. home appliances) such as bedding, clothing, fuel, medical or other aid

To undertake research in the subject of Camelid breeding & any other matters thereto. To promote, develop & encourage the import & export of Camelids & their fibre in such markets as in appropriate & provide general benefits for the common good.

Assistance and relief for Church members or members of St John's Methodist & United Reformed Church resident in the Urban District of Stone or in the vicinity.

Representing Bishop's Stortford residents and individual/corporate members in matters affecting the town as a whole, and in particular relating to planning, transport and the environment.

The relief of young persons in need, resident within the area of Kintbury; primarily, but not exclusively, for the purpose of defraying any costs incurred in gaining employment.Any income not being allocated to individuals can be given to other charitable projects within the area of benefit which support young people.

The main purpose of the womens institute organisation is to enable women who are interested in rural issues to improve and develop conditions of rural life; to advance their education in citizenship, cultural subjects, sports and all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social welfare and uphold WI ideals.

Community activities for local groups.

Skilgate is a small rural village located on the edge of Exmoor and has a small but diverse group of residents ranging from 1 year to 90 years of age. Skilgate village hall provides an important meeting place for the residents and gives them the opportunity to interact in a range of recreational, social and fund raising activities. Various fund raising events are held to maintain the hall.

Makes charitable donations to the following categories of local people: the elderly in need; those in poor health; those who are unemployed; 6th Form, College or University students; and parents/guardians of children needing help with the cost of school books or uniforms.
