Education Charities

The Parish provides Christian services of worship at its two churches for the benefit of both members and visitors. It encourages spiritual growth by guidance and discussion in small groups. It also provides high quality child-care in the Pre-school and Out-of-school Club.

Education of the public in languages, literature, cultures, histories and people in the world, but not exclusively, by the provision of grants and scholarships to allow individuals to learn other languages and to become language teachers; and the prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world.

To raise funds to support the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzliyah, Israel. It is a private college which combines academic study with practical training and where personal achievement and social responsibility go hand-in-hand.

THE PROVISION OF GYMNASTIC FACILITIES FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES

We operate a 3-screen cinema, for leisure/entertainment and education/social activities. We improve quality of life for residents of South Sefton and surrounding areas by: -+?+?+? advancing education in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art of film,+?+?+? providing recreational and leisure facilities, +?+?+? providing volunteering opportunities so improving employability.

Education and activities

We run a specialist college for young people with learning disabilities, which prepares students for independent living and employment. We also deliver services to support families with multiple needs and a creative therapies project. In Kentish Town we run a volunteer programme, to give local people an active role in tackling issues around health and inequality.

The Charity's objects are to promote the Arts and Higher Education and to encourage, maintain and develop public education and appreciation of the Arts and Higher Education, to remove barriers to young people who wish to study an Arts degree and to promote, improve, develop and maintain the appreciation of the Arts.

Providing family support to families with children under five years old. To support these families in many aspects of life including health, education, parental support and training. Providing a safe, intergrated educational play space for children before formal education at 5 years including daycare for children aged nine months to five years.

To advance the education of school-age children in Cardiff and surrounding areas, in the national curriculum subjects and in Islamic studies, through the establishment and maintenance of a nursery, primary school, secondary school, and provision for post-16 education.

The Union undertakes activities which promote the interests and welfare of its students and which represent, support and advise them; it is the recognised representative channel between its students, the University of Gloucestershire and any other external bodies; it provides social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities and forums for debate for the personal development of its students.

Training School/Child Psychotherapy

The BIEA is active in research into the history, archaeology and social sciences of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and surrounding countries. It encourages research by individual scholars, works with the universities, museums and antiquities services of the eastern African countries and liaises with international scholarship. It maintains a centre for research and a library at its base in Nairobi.

The main activity of the PCC is to promote the whole mission of the Church:- Regular public worship & sacred space open to all- Pastoral work- Teaching of Christianity- Religious assemblies in schools- Promotion of Christianity- Activities for senior citizens, youth, children, parents/toddlers and other special need groups- Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Home visits, training in IT skills, telephone advice, advice and support at hospital information desk and at resource centres generally to promote the physical mental and spiritual well being of the visual impaired in our area of operation.

Amala's mission is to use the power of education to transform the lives of refugees, their communities and the world. We develop high quality and inclusive education programmes aimed at out-of-school refugee and displaced youth.

To collect, preserve and present accessibly the works and activities of the Royal Engineers through a Museum and Library; to educate and promote scholarship and enjoyment therein for military and civilian customers; thereby to contribute positively to the proficiency, reputation and efficiency of the Royal Engineers, the recruitment and inspiration of its members and the benefit of the public.

Provide a range of services to both asylum seekers & refugees living on Teesside. We provide food & housing to destitute asylum seekers. We provide housing, a work club & training opportunities to refugees. A range of drop in service fostering community integration and English Classes (ESOL).

The StandOut Programme is an innovative approach to training, coaching and supporting people preparing for release from prison. It operates in three stages:an intensive course delivered in prison in the lead up to release; on-going support up to the point of release; and continued support after release into employment, education or training.

We are a charity providing school staff and students with a range of practical oracy workshops - all delivered by professional experts and qualified teachers, especially trained in the use of oracy as an educational tool.Our workshops hone skills and support a consistent approach to oracy being employed in all subjects throughout schools.

Operation of an inclusive nursery school and family centre for children with special needs and fully able children based on the Christian belief in the value of every individual.

The Stewards' Trust is a Christian teaching charity, seeking to promote and encourage the Christian faith by providing Bible-based teaching, worship and ministry in a relaxed setting. The Trust works with people of all ages through three main strands - houseparties, youth events and schools/universities work.
