Provide training and employment for people with learning disabilities by running a cafe and gift shop in Chorleywood, Herts. People with learning disabilities will undertake supervised training in the cafe and gift shop allowing them to gain essential work experience and to work alongside others. Following such training, support will be given to obtain sustainable employment in the community.

As a charity and through partnerships, we provide parental engagement programmes to support UK primary schools. Our programmes support parents, particularly those in disadvantaged areas, by providing them with videos and activities, through our inclusive online platform. We also lead the Parental Engagement Forum; a group of organisations mobilised to improve home learning across the sector.

In essence we provide welfare and education services to the Chinese and other ethnic minority communities. We run projects such as elderly luncheon club and elderly carers for people over 60, women and family, youth, mental health to get people people back to the society, and adult education. Restore (York) Ltd is a charity working to relieve homelessness and to provide support and mentoring for vulnerable people in the City of York.

Free to Be Kids provides respite holidays, therapeutic adventures, after-school support and a range of year round residentials for children who are struggling with social or emotional difficulties, significant social/financial disadvantage or who are growing up in marginalised communities. Without our work, many would not have support or a break from often extremely difficult home circumstances.

The main work of the Longford Trust is its scholarships programme offering financial, mentoring and employability support to young serving and ex-prisoners to continue their rehabilitation by studying for degrees at UK universities.
