Education Charities

The prime activities of Apex Trust is to advance the education of the pupils at Apex Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not required to be provided by the local education authority for education at the school.

1. Running craft workshops for people with disabilities (PWDs) to learn craft skills. 2. Training skilled volunteers to set up employment-generating craft workshops for PWDs facing poverty in the developing world. 3. Running a shop to sell products made by PWDs in our workshops in the developing world to provide them with an income.4. Running a cafe to provide day services & work experience.

The principal objectives of the charity are:? the advancement of education of children below compulsory school age? the provision of facilities for recreation for such children in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life by providing for all children without discrimination a safe and satisfying pre-school environment

Childcare 3months to 14 years, full day care, plus Before school, After School and Holiday Club during School Holidays

Provides support for Church of England Schools throughout the diocese of Lincoln (Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire). Promotes a christian ethos within these schools and their communities. Provides training in the teaching of Religious Education, school Improvement consultancy and services, governor and senior teacher training. Hosts schools festivals and other events.

REACH assists clients in financial crisis, focusing on solutions for debt and hardship through a relational handholding approach. Food parcels deliver immediate crisis relief. Long-term interventions include debt advice, benefits assistance, housing aid, essential items. Our prevention work involves post intervention 1-2-1 wellbeing guidance, money management classes in schools, advocacy & policy.

The school exists to provide a public benefit of co-education for boys and girls ages 2 1/2 to 11 from nursery to Year 6. It also lends itself to the local parishes who use the school's facilities. The school raises funds for many other charities including, but not exclusive to, churches, Walking with the Wounded, Macmillan Cancer, British Legion, Operation Christmas Child, and Children in Need.

The Mission is an inter-denominational Christian organisation whose objective is to take the Christian Gospel to the people. The Mission presents the Gospel among children in school assemblies and beach missions; in the open air and at public activities such as race meetings, and distributes Christian literature in the course of its work. There is close co-operation with Christian Churches.

We promote Christianity through a variety of activities: regular public worship, events for all ages, we provide a building and Churchyard open to the public for prayer & contemplation, we conduct pastoral work with those in need, assemblies and activities in local schools, run a foodbank and support other charities in the UK and overseas.

To maintain and improve standards of professional midwifery the Trust conducts and commissions research, publishes information, provides education and training and organises conferences, campaigns and other events. Through its benevolent fund the Trust makes grants to midwives and others who need financial help.

The Charity provides means-tested bursaries and scholarships to pupils of Charterhouse School or donations towards capital projects that will benefit the pupils of the School.

To advance the education of disaffected young people in West Yorkshire between the ages of 16 and 19, who are unemployed, or lacking in qulaifications, or at risk of persistent anti-social behaviour, or offending, by the provision of programmes of outdoor education other training and challenging activities to improve their personal and social skills

Child Rescue Nepal, formally the Esther Benjamins Trust, cares for children rescued from trafficking and slavery. It provides care and rehabilitation to children unable to return to their families and ongoing support to reunited families. Vocational & life skills training are also provided for older children.It also prevents trafficking by strengthening schools and educating communities.

The Foundation seeks to enhance the lives of people throughout the world by promoting the advancement of opportunity for education, that is the physical, intellectual, moral, religious and spiritual development of the whole person regardless of ethnicity, nationality or religious belief. It makes grants for educational projects principally to organisations and institutions.

Holland House is a Christian Centre with a beautiful chapel. It provides residential accommodation with excellent food and facilities, for courses and retreats for groups or individuals. It strongly supports and welcomes Interfaith Groups, Charitable Groups, schools (eg headteachers forums), Wellbeing in the form yoga, mediation, spiritual direction, and music and art groups.

For the public benefit to preserve and protect good health among children and young people aged 0-16 resident in the Greater London area who have been affected by traumatic life experiences, attachment or developmental trauma, in particular but not exclusively, by providing subsidised Play Therapy and other therapeutic services, emotional support and training to parents, carers and school staff
