THE CHARITY OPERATES IN GHANA, KENYA & ZANZIBAR, WHERE IT PROVIDES GRANTS TO FURTHER THE FOLLOWING:- EDUCATION AND TRAINING - PROVISION OF MATERIALS, BUILDING NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND ALSO REPAIRING AND IMPROVING EXISTING BUILDINGS- ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH- PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY- SUPPORTING AMATEUR SPORT- AIDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The relief of the non employed in the county of Essex by provision of resource centres which assist them in finding employment and in developing skills relevant to the job market.

Regular public worship open to all.The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation.Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved.Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groupsTaking of religious assemblies in schools.The provision of a youth club with a Christian ethos.Promotion of Christianity through the staging of eve

Our Pre-School provides quality sessional care for children aged 2 years to school admission age. The team provides a warm, caring, happy and stimulating environment to enable the children to learn, develop, explore and have fun! We follow a structured routine in which children can feel settled with the security of knowing what to expect throughout the session.

TO PROVIDE A SAFE LEARNING AND CARING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 TO 11. THE SETTING OPERATES ON A TERM TIME BASIS BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 6PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. THE SETTING IS NOT OPEN IN THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE PROVIDE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS FOR CHILDREN FROM THREE LOCAL SCHOOL AND OFFER A PICK UP SERVICE. WE PROVIDE AN INCLUSIVE PROVISION FOR ALL.

Awards Main Foundation Grants to help women in the final year of a PhD.Awards Emergency Grants to graduate women on a post graduate course who then face an unforeseeable financial crisis.Awards Theodora Bosanquet bursaries are offered annually to women graduates whose research in History or English Literature requires a short residence in London.

To invest time in young people enabling them to re-engage with education and employment. We provide a mix of educational and support services to empower, care for and give hope to excluded and at risk young people from South London.

UK WIDE WORK WITH PARTNERS TO PROVIDE DANCE TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM AN UNDER PRIVILEGED COMMUNITY AS WELL AS TO SCHOOLS AS A TOOL FOR RETENTION. WE PROVIDE A COMPETITION STRUCTURE TOO SHOULD THEY SO WISH TO TAKE THIS ROUTE. WE ALSO WORK WITH PARTNERS TO ENSURE THAT ANY DANCE BEING OFFERED IS INCLUSIVE TO ALL REGARDLESS OF ABILITY OR DISABILITY.

Enhancement of the childrens development and education primarily under the statutory school age by allowing them to experience a wide range of activities both adult led and child led. Parents encouraged to become involved in their child's education. Activities take place in a fun, safe, stimulating child based building.

We offer specialist advice, information, casework, advocacy, counselling, freedom progamme and ESOL classes for women. We help BME women find safe temporary accommodation when fleeing domestic violence. We signpost women for immigration advice.We have weekly children's activities promoting confidence and building self esteem of all girls in Suffolk . We work with vulnerable women in Zimbabwe.

Cullingworth pre-school delivers planned early years curriculum supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum guidance.

Work with other Methodist bodies,Churches Together in Penrith,local schools,hospitals.Outreach -ALPHA courses, work with children and young people on the Church premises and elsewhere,Luncheon Club for seniors,Conference Centre for outside groups,concert venue, charitable work in the UK and overseas, affirming the Christian faith through worship,service and outreach in and around Penrith.

The mosque is a centre providing prayers and worshipping facilities.Organises festivals.Provides funeral services in line with the teachings of Islam. Holds children's Qur'an classes after school every day; teaching the reading and memorising of Qur'an.The promotion of good race and community relations with other ethnic communities in the area of benefit

Our activities include Sport, health & well being; Creative & Digital Media; Music & Fashion;,ABA Boxing Awards ,ASDAN accredited Awards and Employment Training all designed to be outcome based, achieved through vocational industry-led employment pathways and delivered within an educational framework

To advance the Christian religion in the United Kingdom for the benefit of the members and public through the holding of prayer meetings, sermons, Sunday School, conventions and distribution of literature to enlighten others about Christianity. Matt's Gallery creates opportunities for artists to push the boundaries of their practice, providing space, support, mentoring and resources for artists at all stages of their careers to create ambitious new works. Matt's Gallery presents free and accessible exhibitions of high quality visual contemporary arts, engaging students in free talks and seminars with artists and staff.

THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND BOARDING FOR BOYS AND GIRLS TOGETHER WITH ANCILLIARY EDUCATIONAL AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING A SUMMER SCHOOL FOR LOCAL CHILDREN.

The promotion of dialogue and understanding between members of different faith communities, within the City of Derby, Derbyshire, the East Midlands and generally within the United Kingdom.

MENTORING SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS. PASTORAL/CHAPLAINCY/EMOTIONAL LITERACY SUPPORT WORK IN SCHOOLS, DELIVERING LESSONS ON ASPECTS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH WITHIN THE RELIGIOUS STUDIES PROGRAMMES OF SECONDARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS; SPEAKING AT SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES, PRESENTING A CHRISTIAN STANDPOINT ON CURRENT ISSUES; RUNNING AFTER-SCHOOL CHRISTIAN CLUBS; ENCOURAGING CHRISTIAN STUDENT GROUPS IN SCHOOLS

We hold regular and annual activities. We have an Easter Fayre, Summer Fun Day, Photograph morning and christmas hampers. This are all fundraising activies and are supported well by our parents and local community

Buskaid runs a Music School in Soweto, teaching violin, viola, cello and double bass to more than eighty young musicians aged between 4 and 25. Funds for the School are raised through charitable trusts in South Africa, the USA and the UK. In addition, Buskaid has supported students from the Music School who have been successful in gaining places for tertiary study at music college in the UK.
