Education Charities

The Charity exists to advance the education of children below the compulsory school age by providing play in a safe and secure environment. It aims to ensure to the best of its ability that excellent facilities and pre-school education are provided to each child who attends the nursery

Ocean Youth Connexions has been providing various youth and community activities since 2002, within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. These have range from youth club sessions, parents and children's evenings, football training, Taekwando, homework clubs, cycle proficiency training and employment support workshops. The organisation also delivers various holiday programmes targeting families.

The Parish covers Tottenham Hale ward of the Borough of Haringey. The people and institutions (schools &c) of the parish benefit through the provision of services and the building up of community life. A far greater number of people benefit from our work with links to schools and many individuals beyond the parish boundaries.

The regeneration of Myatt's Fields Park: protection and conservation of its buildings and environment; provision of recreational facilities and activities for its users; the development of food growing in the park and the provision of training or work experience among local unemployed people.

We are a modern evangelical Anglican church, primarily ministering to the needs to the local community of Furnace Green, Crawley including St Andrew's primary school which adjoins our church building. In addition to worship on a Sunday, the Church operates a number of ministries including Children & Families, Youth and a community cafe.

The charity receives donations and pays out by way grants and support costs. This expenditure is in line with the stated objects of the charity and was educational in nature.

During the year, the charity carried out Qurbanis in Tanzania. During the year, IHelp Global delivered a number of medical eye camps bringing high-quality care to those who most need it. The organization has also supported schools and community organizations to promote education and training. IHelp Global has also delivered short term seasonal food projects delivering livestock and meat.

The advancement of religion is achieved via our church services and Sunday school to which we welcome regular people attending worship and visitors from within the local community. Our services are held on Sundays and in addition we also hold prayer meetings during the week.

The pre-school provides childcare and education (Early years) to children aged between 2 and 5 years of age in the local community. We are registered by OFSTED (123649) and have achieved an OFSTED report of 'Outstanding' in March 2020. We support children and their parents/carers regardless of their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

FRP's main areas of work are collecting and re-distributing waste paint, recycling office paper, organising waste exchange events, supporting communities to develop waste minimisation initiatives, and a volunteer programme enabling marginalised people to gain valuable skills and work experience through volunteering, reduce social isolation, and take positive action for their community.

Kids Alive International (called Hope for Kids until Sept 2021) works around the world to provide quality holistic care to orphans and vulnerable children. Our vision is a world where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We accomplish this by supporting Care Centres, Schools, Residential Care and Community Programmes operated by our US partner Kids Alive International.

The Charity aims to train professionally competent art practioners and therapists. We also offer art teaching through full time, part-time, weekend and summer courses to the public.

Manchester Schools' PE Association provides a programme of opportunity for schools to engage in sport, competition, physical activity, health & wellbeing and leadership.

The Drake Calleja Trust provides scholarships, educational and performance opportunities to outstanding classical musicians. The Trust aims to work in genuine partnership with other organisations within music and the arts and supports performing classical musicians of any nationality studying in the UK.

The advancement of Christian and other charitable purposes and in, particular, to further education in the basic principles of Christian morality.

TURF ARE A NON-PROFIT ARTIST-RUN PROJECT LOCATED IN CROYDON. WE SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARTISTS & CURATORS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A HIGH QUALITY AMBITIOUS PROGRAMME OF FREE EXHIBITIONS, TALKS & EVENTS.RUN BY A GROUP OF ARTISTS, TURF IS PART OF A GROWING ARTISTIC COMMUNITY THAT AIM TO PROVIDE WORKSPACE, EXHIBITION & EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS & THE CROYDON COMMUNITY.

A volunteer community organisation. We are regenerating Chopwell by creating employment & skills-learning opportunities, improving the environment, improving housing, improving health & well-being, improving education & training, facilitating intergenerational communication, increasing visitors, stimulating growth & improving the look & feel of our village. All activity is driven by consultation.

THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT FORUM (UKFIET) PROVIDES A PROACTIVE FORUM FOR UNIVERSITIES, NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS, CONSULTANCY GROUPS AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANISATIONS WORKING FOR EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT INTERNATIONALLY, TO SHARE IDEAS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE AND SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO POLICY MAKERS.

Twynham Church for the Community (Christchurch, Dorset) holds regular services of worship and other regular activities for church members. In addition, the church is involved with work with young families, with children and young people and with older people. Activities includes 'Mums and Toddler' groups, Sunday Schools, Youth Clubs and functions for Senior Citizens.
