We provide free recycled sports shoes, which we collect through donations from the community, to enable participation in sports and activities. We promote the benefits of recycling and reusing sports shoes. We raise awareness of the beneficial effect that participation in sports and exercise has on both mental and physical health. We currently operate in Herts and Beds.

The trust makes grants, via other agencies, to homeless individuals, to buy basic furniture from the 'Furniture Re-use Network' when moving from supported housing into independent accommodation within Greater London Area. TO PROVIDE A LOCAL LIBARY WITH I.T FACILITIES. THE HUB WAS SET UP AFTER THE REMOVAL OF THE LOCAL LIBRARY. THE FREE I.T FACILITIES ARE USED BY JOB SEEKERS TO SIGN ON AND SEEK EMPLOYMENT.HELPING ORGANISATIONS ARE OFFERED A FREE OUT REACH FACILITY TO SEE CLIENTS. RESIDENTS CAN GET RECYCLING BAGS AND LOCAL INFORMATION, SUCH AS COMMUNITY COUNTY COUNCIL MINUTES. WE HELP TO DEVELOP NEW COMMUNITY GROUPS.

New Leaf Alresford offers local information and advice, to help the community to adopt the positive changes needed to tackle climate change, promote sustainability and protect our environment. We provide information through the New Leaf Website: www.newleafalresford.org and Facebook group. We volunteer locally on projects which tackle climate change, increase recycling and boost biodiversity.

Raising money towards equipment and services for the children of South Wootton Infant School by means of fundraising events such as disco's, quiz nights, Summer and Christmas Fair's including sale of the children's art and craft work and commission based recycling.

Hatcham Temple Grove Parent Teacher Association organise fundraising events that help to provide additional equipment and resources for all the children who attend the primary school.Typical activities include Cake Sales (every 1/2 term), Clothes Aid (recycling clothing collection), Discos, Christmas Events, Christmas cards, Used uniform Sale, Easter raffle & Summer Fair.

Ail Gyfle is a charitable social enterprise that produces home and garden furniture and craft from recycled pallets and other discarded items. We offer a safe context for those on the margins to learn life skills alongside Open College Network qualifications in Confidence building, substance misuse, Health and Safety at work, wood working, recycling and building a work portfolio.

As well as providing grants to deserving causes within our community and the Lions District and Multiple District the Lions Club of Leek undertake a number of community service projects :-Christmas lunch for members of the Leek Stroke Club, Spectacle Recycling. The Root provides practical support to a local community.
