Opportunities are provided through a community re-use project involving the collection, refurbishment and redistribution of unwanted furniture and household goods and a horticultural project based on organic principles.

The Farm provides volunteering opportunities, particularly for disadvantaged people and an informal educational environment for children, young people and their families, with an emphasis on healthy living and caring for the environment, we also hold community activities such as evening bat walks. The Farm offers year round open access to the meadows, woodland, wildlife pond and farmyard.

The Mersey Rivers Trust is a charity working in partnership with all those interested in improving our local rivers and waterways. As a member of the national Rivers Trust movement, it is the Rivers Trust for the River Mersey and its catchment. The Trust covers a large area of the North West River Basin District and includes the rivers Alt, Crossens, Irwell, Tame, Goyt, Bollin, Weaver and more.

Providing a place for worship, training and outreach as a church based in Feltham but serving a wide area. Involvement in a wide range of activities designed to meet the needs of local communities such as refugees and asylum seekers. The work includes groups for mothers and babies, a storehouse ministry providing food and clothing and work with youth.

Secured a years funding to recruit a Project Officer.Secured funding to carry out a number of river restoration projects on the Witham.Delivered Riverfly and Eels in Classroom projects.Attended the county shows and undertook Work Party events with our volunteers.took a lead role in the steering group for the Catchment Based Approach.Hosted the Rivers Trust Spring Conference.

ORCA works to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises (collectively known as cetaceans) in UK and European waters. We promote the conservation of cetaceans in particular by educating the public and raising awareness of the need for their protection and their natural habitat. We also conduct scientifc research into whale and dolphin habitat, population and distribution.

To promote, for the benefit of the public, the preservation, conservation and protection of Africa's wildlife and natural heritage at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and in Laikipia county, Kenya including by undertaking related local development activities.

Activities include: Land management for nature conservation; Habitat restoration; Species reintroduction and reinforcement; Supporting wildlife education; Wildlife survey, recording and research projects.

Vincent Wildlife Trust conserves British, Irish and European mammals through conservation research and practical fieldwork. We: 1) develop innovative monitoring solutions, 2) identify actions to generate conservation solutions for effective population restoration 3) develop effective mitigation strategies through conflict management to promote coexistence between mammal populations and humans.

To raise awareness on river pollution and apply pressure on industrial and agricultural producers to take greater responsibility for remedying the adverse environmental impact their supply chains are having on the health of our UK rivers.

RSPCA Suffolk Central runs a Re-Homing Centre (also a holding area for injured wildlife until transfer/release) and two Veterinary Clinics, which provides heavily subsidised care for the animals of people on low incomes. We offer low cost microchipping, advice and provide help with neutering / operations, etc. for people on low incomes. We run 5 shops which play a big role in our fundraising.

The Forest Upcycling Project collects unwanted furniture and electrical goods in the Forest of Dean and works with disabled and unemployed people to repair and upcycle it selling to everyone, but to low income families at very reduced rates (and if needed free). Groups benefitting include people that believe in reuse and recycling, disabled, unemployed and philanthropists willing to volunteer.

The provision of grant funding to other charities with particular emphasis on those involved in the general fields of sustainable development, climate change mitigation and overseas disaster relief.

Dorset Reclaim operates across Dorset & western Hampshire as a furniture re-use project, collecting surplus electrical appliances, household items and furniture from local people and businesses.Our aims are to supply good quality items at low cost, provide a range of volunteering and training opportunities and to reduce the amount going to landfill by service provision and education.

Wildlife and Countryside Link (Link) brings together environmental voluntary organisations in the UK united by their common interest in the conservation and enjoyment of the natural and historic environment. Our aim is to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the voluntary sector by facilitating collaboration.

The Eden Rivers Trust is a conservation charity based in Penrith with two main objectives: - To conserve, protect and improve the River Eden, its tributaries and the flora and fauna in and adjacent to them.- To increase public awareness of the importance of the River Eden and its catchment through education.These aims are met through our research, conservation and education projects.
