The Climate Coalition is the UK's largest group of people dedicated to action on climate change and limiting its impact on the world's poorest communities. We are more than 100 organisations, from environment and development charities to unions, faith and community groups. We demand practical action by the UK to keep global warming as far as possible below the 2 degree C danger threshold.

The Partnership is established to conserve, protect and maintain the coastal,environmental and natural heritage of the Thames for the public benefit.It covers the Tidal Thames from Chelsea to Shoeburyness in Essex and the Isle of Grain in Kent dealing with Education, Dredging,Research,Recreation ,Archaeology and Fisheries, river transport, riverside development and others.

- To preserve and conserve the area known as St Nicholas Fields for the benefit and education of the public.- To educate the residents of York in principles and benefits of environmental and conservation issues and sustainability including recycling and waste reduction- To provide facilities for residents with the aim of improving their conditions of life through social welfare and leisure

Conservation and maintenance, for the benefit of the public, of the natural environment and its indigenous woodland flora and fauna, with particular reference to the conservation and maintenance of the character and amenity of rural areas. In order to further the objects the charity expends money directly on relevant projects and also makes grants to relevant organisations.

The charity aims to monitor, maintain and improve the aquatic environment of the lakes, rivers and streams of South Cumbria. It also aims to educate the wider general public in the importance of the aquatic environment of South Cumbria and the problems presently faced.

The Trust was formed to promote good practice in the conservation and improvement to the habitats of the rivers, wetlands and water bodies within the catchments of the rivers Don, Rother and Dearne.

We are a grant making trust supporting many animal & wildlife charities throughout the UK but primarily in Yorkshire & Humberside.Grants are made each May & November to both local organisations but also local branches of national animal welfare charities.

SOFA PROJECT IS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE WITH THE CHARITABLE AIMS OF SUPPORTING THE REHABILITATION OF PRISONERS THROUGH WORK OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ORGANISATION. THESE ACTIVITIES MAINLY COMPRISE THE RE-USE OF UNWANTED/DONATED FURNITURE AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCES BY REFURBISHING THEM AND SUPPLYING THEM AT LOW PRICES TO PEOPLE ON LOW INCOMES.

NewStarts has three core activities that aim to help meet the practical needs of people on low incomes who are moving into social housing following a period of homelessness or other personal trauma or financial crisis. 1.Relieving poverty by donating household furniture and food2.Reducing homelessness by assisting resettlement3.Protecting the environment by promoting furniture re-use.

BART aims to protect and improve the health of rivers and streams and their bankside environment within the Bristol Avon catchment area. BART achieves this by using the knowledge of its volunteers and by forming partnerships with other interested parties such as Wildlife Trusts, and by engaging with land owners, community groups and river users such as anglers and walkers.

Promotion of the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Isle of Wight by the advancement of education and training for both the rural workforce and the general public.

Mlinda Foundation's focus is to facilitate development of rural electrification projects using renewable energy in India. Communities in project areas had no access to reliable electricity and opportunities to earn income were limited. Initial results from project areas show household income has increased by over 60% through the use of electric-powered equipment in households and for agriculture.

The Cart Shed uses the natural environment to offer opportunities to try something new, improve well-being, find friendships and a place of calm. Based in Herefordshire our activities which include coppicing, coppice crafts and horticulture lend themselves to enabling individuals to explore ways to overcome and accept episodes in their lives they find difficult to manage.

Rescue, care and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, sick and distressed wild animals.Promoting an interest and respect of our natural wildlife heritage.

For the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of seals and seal pups in need of care and attention. To provide care and treatment to all local wildlife until such time as they can be safely released into the wild. To raise awareness and educate the public as to the seals natural environment and welfare needs. The main sources of income come from the shop in Mablethorpe and donations.

Supplying furniture and other household items to people in need, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty for the benefit of people who are living in East Anglia.Provision of training, work experience, workshops to enhance work and life skills.Protection and preservation of the environment by waste-reduction, re-use, reclamation, recycling, using recycled goods.

To restore the Wey & Arun Canal, its towpaths, structures and adjacent land and facilitate its use for navigation and recreation; to conserve and improve the natural environment of the Canal and adjacent land; and to provide education and share information about the Canal, its structures and its history

To conserve, protect, rehabilitate and improve the rivers, streams, watercourses and water impoundments of the catchments comprising the River Thame and its Catchment and other nearby rivers and their catchments for the advancement of environmental protection or improvement for the benefit of the public

River catchment conservation measures for the Yorkshire Dales Rivers, namely the Wharfe, Nidd, Ure and Swale. The YDRT also supports and sponsors research and education to inform the public of the importance river habitat conservation for supporting biodiversity, for improving water quality and for oublic recreation and enjoyment.

The Peak District National Park Foundation seeks to grow support and raise funds for the Peak District for everyone to enjoy forever. Our ambition is more land managed for wildlife, more rare habitats protected and more people able to access and enjoy the National Park. We will do this by raising funds and working in partnership to deliver projects which care for the Peak District.

To relieve the suffering of sick wild animals by: a) Rescuing, caring for and rehabilitating injured, orphaned or distressed wild animals. b) Education of the public in the care and rehabilitation of British wildlife. c) Assisting others with research in wildlife rehabilitation.
