Free the Bears works to end the exploitation of threatened bear species and supports the protection of bears in the wild. We work with governments and nongovernmental partners to strengthen wildlife law enforcement, improve environmental awareness and promote sustainable livelihoods for communities that previously relied on the exploitation of bears.

The principal activity of the charity is supplying furniture and household goods to those most in need in the North East of England, in particular to people in Sunderland. The charity participates in charitable projects for the relief of elderly or disabled and vulnerable people in the same area. We promote reuse and recycling as a means of waste disposal and we provide recycling activities.

Wild Futures is a registered charity whose aims are to promote the welfare, conservation and future survival of all primates to increase public awareness about animal welfare issues and to promote environmental and wildlife conservation and sustainability at local and global levels. Wild Futures runs a Monkey Sanctuary for animals rescued from inappropriate conditions and the UK pet trade.

It provides sheltered, meaningful opportunities to help unemployed individuals, who are not ready/able to embark on a more formal training/educational programme or to directly enter employment. It is an integrated scheme catering for a variety of people, many of whom have special needs, including mental ill health.

We envision that all productive forests and woodlands in the UK will contain a proportion of selected or genetically improved trees to enhance diversity and resilience to climate change, pests and diseases. The wood they produce will be used in the construction of net zero carbon buildings, locking up carbon for decades and helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Digital Pipeline helps alleviate poverty by providing access to computer equipment for the poorest schools and projects in the UK and the developing world. As a consequence we also promote conservation, protection & improvement of the environment through the re-use of ICT equipment.

Conservation of the Barn Owl and its Environment through practical conservation work, research, education and free national information and advice service. We also run a Live Owl Emergency Service, a small sanctuary for owls unable to survive in the wild and manage 26 acres of land purchased with a legacy in 2001 for Barn Owls and other wildlife.
