Betel of Britain is a group of caring, not-for-profit Christian communities helping broken people to regain control of their health, work potential and independence.We provide accommodation free of addictive substances where people facing life-disrupting problems can regain control of their lives, in particular, through work experience in a caring family atmosphere.

PROVISION OF BURIAL SERVICES TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY

The NGS raises money for national nursing caring and gardening charities by receiving donations and other support as a result of opening gardens of quality, character and interest to the public. County teams raise funds primarily from donations from garden openings which are sent to Head Office. Animals Asia is devoted to ending the barbaric practice of bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals in China and Vietnam. We promote compassion and respect for all animals and work to bring about long-term change. Particular emphasis is on ending bear bile farming, ending the trade in dogs and cats for meat and improving the welfare of captive animals in zoos and safari parks.

Botanic Garden

Colchester Zoological Society is dedicated to providing financial and technical assistance to conservation projects worldwide, to raising awareness among local people in community conservation programmes and to supporting conservation research and its own project: the UmPhafa Nature Reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

Provision of casework and debt advice services and financial support to people employed in or retired from the horticultural industry who find themselves in difficulties arising from financial difficulties, ill health, disability, and /or old age. The Trust's mission is to conserve local wildlife, promote nature conservation and provide the means by which everyone can become involved. Horatio's Garden creates and cares for beautiful, accessible gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. Designed to improve patients' psychological and physical wellbeing, the stunning sanctuaries become a vital part of patients' lives during their long hospital stays. Events and activities are organised by the charity, including garden and art therapy, music concerts and sculpture exhibitions.
