THE NORTHAM COMMUNITY LINK MANAGES THE NORTHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE, PROVIDING ROOMS ETC FOR THE USE OF OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL PEOPLE

The Association runs Grovehill Community Centre which provides meeting space for a wide range of groups.

The charity carries out research, mainly through its country branches, into historic gardens throughout Wales. It works to raise awareness of Wales's garden heritage, to advise owners and planners, and to conserve and protect sites.

THE HALL IS LET TO LOCAL GROUPS FOR THEIR ACTIVITIES. SCOUTS, JUDO CLUB. LUNCHEON CLUB, AUTUMN CLUB, GENERAL FUND RAISING, ZUMBA, PILATES, FOLK DANCING, CREATIVE DANCE, WOMENS' INSTITUTE, ANTIQUES FAIRS, POLLING STATION AND OTHER PARTY AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

We operate and maintain the village hall buildings for the use of the public and organisations within the area of Carterton and surrounding villages.

Yapton and Ford Village Hall Trustees are responsible for the running, upkeep and maintenance of Yapton and Ford Village Hall, situated in the heart of Yapton village. There are two halls for hire within the building, and also a club room, bar and kitchens. The hall is used by a wide range of community groups covering all age ranges.

Sports and recreation

Maintenance and up-keep of Kirdford Recreation Ground, pavilion and tennis court.

The Charity's objects are to promote the benefit of elderley and handicapp people by relieving need, age hardship, sickness and mental or physical handicapp through the provision of a daycare community centre

To provide premises for community use, primarily in the Parish, but also for people and organisations from a wider geographical area.

Village Playing Field. Sports include football, cricket, school games and competitions, basket ball and a skate board ramp. It also includes a childrens playground.

Provision of buildings, equipment and facilities for use by individuals and a variety of bodies both voluntary and commercial in nature. Voluntary bodies are mainly community groups providing recreational facilities for inhabitants of Kennington.

Manage and maintain the Village Hall for use by inhabitants of Barcombe and surrounding neighbourhood with the object of improving the conditions of life for inhabitants.

To provide and operate a community centre where films, live stage shows and other group activities can be held for the purpose of promoting an enhancing greater awareness of community spirit and participation in community events.

Community Centre

Dereham Theatre Company is an active amateur theatre group. We own a Studio where we rehearse and hold Committee meetings. We have both adult members (acting and non acting) and youth members (acting). We perform to local audiences in Dereham Memorial Hall. Each year we look to put on a minimum of one musical and a pantomime. Preferably also performing a play, concert and/or second musical.

THE CHARITY CONTINUED IN ITS OBJECTIVES TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, EDUCATION AND A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF BARNHILL AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THE USE OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE AS REFERRED TO IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S REPORT. OTHER LETTINGS INCOME WAS HIGHER THAN LAST YEAR, AND WE ARE WORKING HARD TO MAINTAIN THIS.

THE BEATRICE DREWE TRUST OWNS AND MANAGES THE BUILDINGS KNOWN AS TICEHURST VILLAGE INSTITUTE AND THE ADJOINING RECREATION GROUND.

a) to advance the Hindu religion in the UK for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayers meeting, lectures, publicCelebration of religious festival and producing and/or distribution literature on Hinduism to enlighten others about the Hindu Religion.b) the relief of poverty and sickness amongst the Prajapati and other communities.

Providing educational, cultural and recreational opportunities by hosting clubs and classes, as well as a varied calendar of professional, community and amateur entertainment throughout the year. Primarily strengthening ties with inhabitants of Bedwas, Trethomas, Machen, Graig y Rhacca, and the wider Caerphilly Basin, enabling the facilities to be accessible and inclusive to all.

To provide a safe and happy learning environment for children under five. This takes the form of a mother and baby/toddler group for children from birth onwards, located in the village hall and an ofsted registered playgroup for 2 - 5 year olds.
