Promote the benefits of all people in the Duke Street, Nelson Street and neighbourhood by bringing the local authority, voluntary organisations and inhabitants together in a common effort to provide recreational and leisure time facilities to the inhabitants.

The charity operates a village hall which provides facilities for local activities. It provides support for local educational activities.

General charitable activities including fund-raising activities and provision of recreational, artistic and social activities for benefit of local community.

To promote social engagement through sporting activities including Football, Bowling, Karate, Yoga.Other activities: support of a Brass Band, Youth Club, WI Ladies, Bestwood Ladies Group, Autism Group, Male Voice Choir & facilities for local and surrounding families to use.There is also support for the village Christmas Tree, parties and local events.

Management of the village hall and sports field. Fund raising for the costs of operation & maintenance. Support for all the village organisations and in particular those groups using the hall & sports field.

In accordance with the Deed of Trust dated 27th May 1927, the Trust must:1. Retain the Motcombe Memorial Hall as a permanent memorial to the late Richard de Aquila, Baron Stalbridge, and keep the Hall in good repair and condition.2. Allow the Hall to be used as a Village Hall for meetings, entertainment and charitable or other public purposes.

To support children and young people in the parish of St. Margaret's, Whalley Range. The word children is an inclusive description of any child or young person from any ethnic,racial or faith community. Support is of a pastoral nature. Examples have included supporting young people with special needs, educational or family issues. Money is raised through the use of the playing field.

The Audlem Public Hall Management Committee exists to organise the Public Hall for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Audlem, Buerton and Hankelow.

Railworld operates as a visitor attraction - Our aim to Entertain and Educate about Sustainable Transport,Co2 Emissions.Volunteers of all ages and creeds have built Model and Garden Railways, and the habitat creative Wildlife Haven - Helping to emphasise the important links between Our Man-Made World and Our Natural World. Our Education Centre shows informative, entertaining films.

We run a Pre-School 3 days a week, term time, plus a Baby & Toddler group once a week at the Village Hall. The group provides educational and social activities for young children plus an opportunity for local families to meet and socialise in our rural area. We are inspected by Ofsted and supported by the West Berkshire Early Years team. We are a member of the Early Years Alliance.
