Social Farms and Gardens exists to support, represent and promote city farms, care farms, school farms and community managed gardens and allotments across the UK, as a means of developing healthy, safe and cohesive communities and developing the potential of individuals.

Our main areas of activity are the provision of advice and support services for the voluntary and community sector; outreach work with community groups and individuals; assistance and advice services for volunteers; health and well-being initiatives for disadvantaged and/or isolated people; assistance for local communities in developing initiatives that help to sustain their communities.

The Hospital of St Cross, In Winchester, Hampshire is the oldest almshouse in England. Up to 25 elderly gentlemen live in self-contained accommodation. The public (mediaeval) buildings and the gardens are open to the public throughout the year. The fine transitional Norman Church is the place of worship for the parishioners of St Faith's parish

The conservation and restoration of exhibits relating to Britain's steam heritage and the presentation of these exhibits for the education and enjoyment of the general public.

To establish, administer and carry on community centres in london and elsewhere in the UK. Those centres are to provide facilities for recreation and all types of physical, mental, moral, educational and cultural training in order to improve the lives of the neighbourhood's residents.

The main objective is to provide sufficient funding on a sustainable basis to enable Parham Park Limited to achieve its objectives of preserving, maintaining and improving the trustees' property at Parham Park (which comprises an Elizabethan mansion with a garden, outbuildings and amenity land which are opened to the members of the public).

The activities carried on by the Trust can be found in the Management Plan. Paddington Recreation Ground has been awarded the Civic Trusts Green Flag Award for the past 9 years. This is a national standard for parks that meet high operational and maintenance standards which are assessed annually by judges appointed by the Civic Trust.

Endeavour is an inner-city outdoor adventure, alternative education, youth and community centre dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of young people and families.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Somers Town, without distinction. Offering the local community opportunities for education, social welfare, recreation and leisure activities.

To promote cultural recreations and to raise social and health well-being of the Chinese/Vietnamese Community.To establish educational standard amongst different age groups of the Chinese/Vietnamese community.To initiate and to foster racial harmony and to dispel feelings of racial discriminations so as to facilitate integration of the Chinese/Vietnamese into the society.

WATERLOW PARK IS AN 11.5 HECTARE PARK IN HIGHGATE. IT'S MAIN ACTIVITY IS TO PROVIDE A 'GARDEN FOR THE GARDENLESS'. THE PARK IS A RICH TAPESTRY OF PONDS, OPEN PARKLAND AND MORE FORMAL DESIGNATED AREAS.

The Charity has a responsibility for a church and an open space for the public. Our mission is to provide a service of spiritual support and pastoral counselling to all people in need. This is carried out through maintaining an open church and sacred safe space for prayer and quiet reflection, the celebration of daily mass and other liturgies, and availability to speak with anyone who has need.

Salmon Youth Centre is unique in bringing to its work a toolbox of youth work skills within a framework of Christian life and values, we use our expertise and specialist workers in arts, sports and personal and social development to inspire young people in Southwark, including the vulnerable and those at risk, to develop ambition for learning and work.

Parks and leisure.

To promote advance and improve for the public benefit agriculture, horticulture, forestry and rural crafts and skills in all their branches and forms and to encourage interest, skill and industry in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, rural crafts and skills and all trades, crafts, businesses, and professions connected therewith.

Exert influence on government policy through the voice of local voluntary and community organisations.Enable Local Infrastructure Organisations to have strong governance and management and to provide inclusive services that enable voluntary and community organisations to meet the needs of the communities they represent.

To raise funds for the hospital through its branch network.To further research,study,advances in treatment and improvement in care at the hospital.To help patients and former patients of the hospital.Provide support from its central office and provide a well run shop and coffee shop through a combination of paid and volunteer staff.

Preservation of the listed building of the former church of St Albans at Teddington Lock and its development as an arts and community centre via a programme of visual and performing arts events and provision of arts education classes.

Graves Park is classified as a City Park and a major visitor attraction with bowling greens, tennis courts, pitch and putt golf, cricket, football and a popular animal farm.

To provide facilities and provision of worship for the muslims practising the religion of Islam in Maidenhead and education and teachings of the Quran.Religious activities,sports and recreation.The charity also holds arabic classes and Islamic study circles in the mosque and in the community centre. The charity also holds sunday classes to help children have a better understanding of the Islam.

Maintenance and development of garden and wild source arboretum at Howick, together with the surrounding countryside, all in an AONB. Conservation of environment including 1 1/2 miles of coastline in a SSSI. Nature education programme for children with local schools.
