First Steps (Bath) is a Registered Charity and an accredited Social Enterprise. Our aim is to improve outcomes for young children in areas of need by working alongside their families and other professionals, through our Early Childhood Community Centres at Woodhouse Road, Twerton and at Moorfields Road and our Specialist Early Years Centre, Bath Opportunity Pre School, (BOP), Frome Road, Bath.

The objectives of the two charities are the preservation of the Open Spaces known collectively as West Wickham Common and Spring Park Wood, and Coulsdon and Other Commons for the recreation and enjoyment of the public.

Based in the heart of South Westminster, the Abbey Centre serves the changing population of Central London. From our spacious and accessible centre at 34 Great Smith Street, we run projects based both in our building and in the surrounding community. Over 1,000 people attend the centre weekly from 2 months to 90+years.

The Green Heart of East London, managing 32 acres of metropolitan green space as a country park; providing environmental education for children and youth especially the disadvantaged; equestrian centre, rare breeds of farm animals and poultry, childrens nursery; cafe and shop; training opportunities for long term unemployed; volunteering opportunities galore.

The Palace Trust aims to preserve and make accessible The Bishop's Palace and its fourteen acres of gardens to the public, as a place of historic, architectural and landscape interest.

The Foundation is actively involved and sponsor conservation activities both at Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks, in addition to overseas projects in the Congo and Gabon and more recently in Indonesia and Madagascar. Our main spheres of conservation-based activity include captive breeding and ecosystem management and reintroduction of captive-bred and confiscated wild-born animals.

Making grants and awards to individuals; providing land.buildings/open space

The organisation operates an independent special school offering an education for young people (aged 10 - 19) with complex needs including learning difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and disabilities. The school operates in Darlington, Yorkshire.

Education of disadvantaged people as Trainees by actual involvement in commercial activity/employment experience. Camden Garden Centre Charitable Trust carries out this charitable function through the vehicle of its wholly owned subsidiary Camden Garden Centre Ltd (co. reg. no. 1592398) which employs Trainees in agreement with the Trust.

The object and principal activity of the Trust is to maintain and preserve the present character and amenities of Hampstead Garden Suburb. The Suburb is a heritage asset of international importance and represents the birth of modern town planning and the apotheosis of twentieth century English domestic architecture and landscape design.

Organise and present exhibitions of contemporary art and artists' projects in the gallery and off-site.Organise and present a range of education activities and projects for the public in the galleries and off site in conjunction with other partners.Operate a bookshop focusing on arts publications and cafe for visitors to the gallery.Produce a range of publications for sale to the public.

The Boathouse Youth is a Children's Charity based in Blackpool that provides positive recreational and educational activities for children and young people Aged 5 - 17. Our activities are categorised into three departments: Centre Based (within our Youth Centre); Detached & Outreach (on the streets and in the local schools) and Activities & Residential.

The objects of St Albans School Woollam Trust are to provide and maintain playing fields and other recreational facilities for the pupils of St Albans School.In addition the trust aims to provide playing fields in sufficient number and of the highest standard to encourage participation in sporting events at all levels. This extends to a wide range of local and regional sports teams and clubs.

(i) the support of vulnerable and disadvantaged people including those with mental health problems & learning disabilities their carers, in Essex, particularly by providing a therapeutic environment, community garden projects, support, counselling & training in order to support wellbeing and promote public health;(ii) to provide and support environmental education and awareness.

We aim to improve the quality of life in Newcastle by a broad programme of voluntary action, recognising that priority should be focussed on the most disadvantaged communities. We achieve this by providing a voice for individuals & the voluntary & community sector, championing voluntary & community action, strengthening voluntary & community organisations, highlighting poverty & inequality issues.

The Bronte Centre provides a facility and service to young people for approximately 50 weeks of the year using a programme that aims to educate and be enjoyable in a warm, welcoming environment. The centre also holds various community based activities to encourage people of the community to meet and interact.

The activities seek to the local community through a range of services which assist the regeneration within an area of disadvantage; main activities include pre school and after school childcare,adult learning and health promotion.

The principal objectives of the Charity are to open Parham to the public and maintain the historic Elizabethan House, its contents and surrounding parkland, woodlands and farmland amounting to approx 900 acres. Ancillary to the main activities of the Charity, other activities are undertaken e.g. catering room, house & garden shop, events and educational courses appropriate for this environment.

The Lady Garden Foundation is a national women's health charity which aims to raise awareness and funds for research into, and treatment of, gynaecological cancers.

We operate a range of services supporting older within the Borough including Day care facilities, Independent Living Service, Foot care, Bathing, Befriending, Exercise and Socialise sessions, Wheel chair hire, Information and Advice Service, Handyman and Gardening service. For people with dementia we run a dementia day care service , Cognitive Stimulation clubs and a dementia cafe.

The main focus of the Charity is the presevation, maintance and development of Exbury Gardens for the public benefit and to open the above gardens to the public.

We provide facilities & services to disadvantaged people across 5 community facilities. Core activities include: Apprenticeship and job training opportunities, remedial education services, English classes (ESOL), cook & eat, healthy living programme, youth club, nursery, older people services, keep fit class, gym, under 5's drop in, universal youth provision, sports, IT training & DBS services.

St Hilda's is a multi-purpose community centre running a number of projects for the local population including an Older People's Project, an advice service including Legal Advice Clinics, youth groups, Food Co-op project, Women's Project, mental health support, creche and under 5s facilities and others. It also runs an off-site day centre service targeted at Bangladeshi older people.

People's Trust for Endangered Species is a conservation charity working to ensure a future for endangered species worldwide. We offer conservation research grants and internships, protect nature reserves, carry out monitoring and surveying and engage in educational activity including wildlife watching events.
