Facilities Charities

The activities seek to the local community through a range of services which assist the regeneration within an area of disadvantage; main activities include pre school and after school childcare,adult learning and health promotion.

The principal objectives of the Charity are to open Parham to the public and maintain the historic Elizabethan House, its contents and surrounding parkland, woodlands and farmland amounting to approx 900 acres. Ancillary to the main activities of the Charity, other activities are undertaken e.g. catering room, house & garden shop, events and educational courses appropriate for this environment.

The purpose of the charity is the preservation in perpetuity by the City of London Corporation of the open spaces know as Highgate Wood, Highgate and Queens Park Kilburn for the use by the public for exercise and recreation.

Provides education and training, membership services for all those interested in small woodlands

We operate a range of services supporting older within the Borough including Day care facilities, Independent Living Service, Foot care, Bathing, Befriending, Exercise and Socialise sessions, Wheel chair hire, Information and Advice Service, Handyman and Gardening service. For people with dementia we run a dementia day care service , Cognitive Stimulation clubs and a dementia cafe.

The main focus of the Charity is the presevation, maintance and development of Exbury Gardens for the public benefit and to open the above gardens to the public.

Zest is a development trust in Sheffield with a focus on Netherthorpe, Upperthorpe and Langsett. Zest manages the Zest Healthy Living Centre, comprising a pool, gym, cafe, library and offices and runs a children's weight management service, GP exercise referral and cardiac rehabilitation. Zest has services to assist people into work & training and a children's sports programme.

Organise and present exhibitions of contemporary art and artists' projects in the gallery and off-site.Organise and present a range of education activities and projects for the public in the galleries and off site in conjunction with other partners.Operate a bookshop focusing on arts publications and cafe for visitors to the gallery.Produce a range of publications for sale to the public.

Education of disadvantaged people as Trainees by actual involvement in commercial activity/employment experience. Camden Garden Centre Charitable Trust carries out this charitable function through the vehicle of its wholly owned subsidiary Camden Garden Centre Ltd (co. reg. no. 1592398) which employs Trainees in agreement with the Trust.

The Burnham Beeches Charity was established under the Corporation of London (Open Spaces) Act 1878, which states that the purpose of the charity is the preservation of the Open Space known as Burnham Beeches, ''the beeches'', for the recreation and enjoyment of the public.

Management and maintenance of the 350 acre Chatham Maritime Estate, including its public parks and play areas; flood defences and riverside walks; bridges, roadways, cycleways and footpaths; public art and monuments.Support for community groups, activities, and organisations at Chatham Maritime, in the wider Medway Towns and its neighbourhood.

People's Trust for Endangered Species is a conservation charity working to ensure a future for endangered species worldwide. We offer conservation research grants and internships, protect nature reserves, carry out monitoring and surveying and engage in educational activity including wildlife watching events.

The objects of the charity are to develop the community wealth of East London and promote a diverse and inclusive society in which all are free to participate. These are achieved through a number of structured programmes and a range of activities supporting people of all ages, creeds, cultures and abilities, principally within the London Borough of Newham.

The charity works to:1) preserve, protect and enhance the physical and natural environment and heritage of Greater Manchester and elsewhere.2) advance the conservation, protection and improvement of the environment for the benefit of the public.3) promote the provision of green space for the public to access.

The Green Heart of East London, managing 32 acres of metropolitan green space as a country park; providing environmental education for children and youth especially the disadvantaged; equestrian centre, rare breeds of farm animals and poultry, childrens nursery; cafe and shop; training opportunities for long term unemployed; volunteering opportunities galore.

To keep and maintain Lowther Gardens, Lytham as a public park or pleasure gardens.

The provision, promotion and protection of playing fields in London for sport and physical activity with the aim of creating a happier, healthier and more cohesive London by providing places to play sport forever. The society caters particularly for the young, old, disabled and disadvantaged. It also provides resources and coaching facilities for students at schools, universities and colleges.

A charity supporting individuals and communities throughout Buckinghamshire, making a difference by offering a range of services and opportunities aimed at improving people's lives. Projects include Employability, Skills, Media, Arts & Culture, with the Oasis Cafe, Aylesbury being our main hub, with a focus on the Opportunities Bucks Strategy. Funded by Trusts, Foundations, and contracts.

Promotes Historic and aesthetic education in particular it restores and preserves the Hall, its contents, gardens and parks. It makes these available to a wide range of sections of the community.

To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the County of the Isle of Wight in furtherance of health and conservation or protection of the environment in a manner recognised as charitable and for the relief of poverty, distress, disability and sickness.

Young peoples resource centre offering informal education, accredited and non-accredited courses, childcare, counselling, cafe, health activities, womens work, work with LGBT young people, music, art, recording studios and sports. All of these activities are provided with in a philosophy of encouraging young people to take control over their own lives).

St Hilda's is a multi-purpose community centre running a number of projects for the local population including an Older People's Project, an advice service including Legal Advice Clinics, youth groups, Food Co-op project, Women's Project, mental health support, creche and under 5s facilities and others. It also runs an off-site day centre service targeted at Bangladeshi older people.

Provision of Community Centre and activities to fulfill the needs of the Muslim community and to provide prayer facility for the Muslims of Cheadle and surrounding areas.

Endeavour is an inner-city outdoor adventure, alternative education, youth and community centre dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of young people and families.
