Dance United Yorkshire advocates the use of dance as a powerful tool for personal and social development. We create bespoke dance projects and interventions to meet the needs of different groups of people who are struggling with difficult circumstances e.g. people accessing mental health services, women suffering domestic abuse and disengaged young people who may demonstrate challenging behaviours

The relief of those suffering from eating disorders. The preservation and protection of physical and mental health of families of sufferers of eating disorders. The education of the public and professionals about eating disorders.

Mountain Rescue Team in south west lake district. We provide search and rescue services to those lost or injured in wild and remote areas. We provide support via the police or ambulance service.

PAC provides therapeutic interventions for young people aged 6 to 25 presenting with emotional, interpersonal and mental health problems and challenges often with associated learning disability. By delivering this preventative work young people address their problems before they escalate, they re-engage into education or employment and live more positive lives within society.

Information, advice, advocacy and social and leisure activities including health and wellbeing, mental health and counselling with focus on asylum seekers, refugees and migrant.

To provide patients in the Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital with comforts and amenities including facilities, buildings & equipment not normally available through the NHS & in certain circumstances to subscribe towards specialised equipment located or to be located at other hospitals which also serve our community.

To assist persons and their families who are suffering from cancer, and to provide support into research into cancer treatment.

Our mission is to promote research to improve the care and treatment of all patients with progressive illness and to make high-quality palliative care available to everyone who needs it: be it in hospice, hospital or home. There is no other charity specifically concerned with carrying out work to identify and promote best practice in palliative care.

Supporting children through childhood cancer treatments and their families.

The charity occupies premises located at 287 Goldhawk Road, which consist of a double fronted Georgian house converted into an activity centre for young people incorporating an art studio, cinema, lounge, meeting room and kitchen for healthy eating classes. To the rear of the house is a adjoining two storey building with a upstairs gym and ground floor games room.

Support for single mother families who have experienced domestic abuse and family breakup:Essentials and Food Parcels: Providing basic necessities to those in need.Mental Health Support: Helping women and their children develop resilience, healing, and relationship skills.Peer Support: Reducing isolation and building a supportive community.

The Jacob Abraham Foundation aims to help prevent suicide through direct intervention with vulnerable people, raise awareness on mental health/suicide issues, promote positive mental health and support people bereaved through suicide in Wales.

Raising funds and providing donated toys to needy homes and institutions, for children in the UK who are sick, disabled, terminally ill or from socially deprived environments.

Hour Community provides community transport, a dementia friendly lunch club, a drop in mental health cafe, and a befriending service

For the benefit to relieve people in need who are disadvantaged (whether through special or additional needs, dementia, communication disability, alcohol, substance abuse) by the provision of creative activities (including but not limited to music, drama and arts), an in connection with those activities to provide support and involvement for parents, guardians, siblings and carers.

The advancement of health primarily by the provision of community based counselling to those in need thereof and by assisting the training of counsellors working for the charity.

To support a wide range of charitable causes together with special emphasis towards contributions to the General Conference of the New Church, Medical Research, Care and Protection of Children and Hospices.
