We provide education to disadvantaged Tamil, Sinhalese and Muslim communities that will improve their quality of life and stimulate/promote community cohesion through shared educational resources (where possible). We do this through teaching professional English language (reading and written). We also provide emotional health programmes to educate people about how to improve their mental health.

The relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health of the inhabitants of low and middle income countries, particularly, but not exclusively, by assisting in meeting the salaries and cost of training of medical and other staff in private not for profit Christian hospitals. The objects of the charity include supporting orphans and other disadvantaged children and young adults.

Provision of face-to-face counselling or emotional support to male victims of sexual abuse aged 13 years and above. In addition provision of counselling/support to nominated supporters. Provision of support, advice and advocacy service. Delivery of awareness raising sessions to external partners. Available to males living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We support patients and families of children born with a congenital heart defect and come under the auspicies of the East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre, run by University Hospitals Leicester

Our activities all relate to teaching and living out the Christian faith. On Sundays and during the week there are times when we learn about our faith and worship God together. We are also actively involved in the surrounding community with a range of activities including youth and children's clubs, a parent and toddler group, and a dementia cafe. We always aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus

The Objects of the Company shall be the educational, physical, social and spiritual well being of deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and Deafblind (hereinafter referred to as deaf) people of all ages and their families mainly but not exclusively in the county of Cumbria.

We have been offering group support to survivors of torture - offering group counselling in their mother tongue, english classes and therapeutic art classes, as well as trying to enroll them in existing services.

Longlands offers alternative educational provision and mental health support to vulnerable young people within the therapeutic setting of an organic livestock farm on the border of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Students study for qualifications in animal care, equine and land-based studies all within the context of meaningful work and alongside skilled and qualified tutors.

2 Drop in centres based in Acton for homeless and otherwise disadvantaged people providing free of charge food, clothing, medical services and advice and counselling

To promote the rehabilitation and mental health of those with mental-illness, disabilities, addictions, those who're homeless or imprisoned, at risk of offending/re-offending upon release through the use of creative writing and mentoring to help aid mental wellbeing, reduce anxiety, depression, self- harm and increase self-confidence and self-worth of those who struggle with social anxiety.

Through sharing expertise in dance and associated arts, to engage with, encourage, support, and develop established and emerging D/deaf and hearing artists, individuals, and communities.To collaboratively produce and perform inspirational dance and associated artistic work.To empower D/deaf, disabled, and other marginalised people to achieve leadership roles in the arts and creative industrie

The College of Mental Health Pharmacy is the main UK body representing pharmacists and pharmacy support staff working in or with an interest in mental health. We provide educational events, publications, bursaries, research advice, local and National support to our members and wider across the profession of pharmacy and other mental health professionals.

East Durham Veterans Trust supports veterans and their families from the East Durham area, through three main areas.Firstly sign posting to other organisations that can offer practical support, this includes finance, housing etc.Secondly through Social inclusion and finally to support veterans and their families with mental health coaching and wellbeing.

We are predominately involved with the production of educational literature regarding the affects of alcohol in health for medical students.The charity is also involved with assisting medical colleagues with alcohol related problems as well as responding to a large number of enquiries from the media and from patients and relatives about alcohol and its affects.

We are developing a 7-day holistic luxury retreat for serving and ex service personnel. Here they will learn multiple ways to enhance their mental health, through a deeper understanding and knowledge of different disciplines they can use in their day to day life.We are currently in a fundraising phase.
