Our aim is to raise awareness of visual impairment through training packages. The package product gives a simulation of various eye conditions and the difficulties faced by visual impaired people in their everyday living. We also aim to assist visually impaired people living in the North East of England by awarding grants twice a year.

OCD-UK aims to improve awareness of the condition both amongst the general public and within the medical community, with the long term aim of campaigning to ensure that every sufferer receives the quality of treatment they deserve. we also facilitate a safe environment for people affected by OCD to communicate with each other and provide mutual understanding and support.

Raising funds to assist and support Alyn Hospital, Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Centre, Jerusalem.

Support to enhance wellbeing based around the Five Ways to Wellbeing through multiple activities including mindfulness, physical activity, social support. Mental wellbeing support - teaching techniques and strategies to improve esteem, understand and regulate emotions, learn about supporting mental health; improve emotional resilience; physical activity; and holiday provision

Information, advocacy and training support for D/deaf people, family members and carers, and professional working with people with hearing loss. Provide building and facilities for D/deaf social groups and a chapel for religious services.

The charity provides support to anyone affected by cancer by means of individual support, group support, therapeutic arts, counselling, complementary therapies and information within a friendly, caring environment.

BD4 Community Trust runs two projects with the aim of Supporting and Restoring Community across the Generations. BD4 Family provides services for pre-school children and their families including Parent & Toddler Groups, Healthy Lifestyle Activities, Nursery Preparation and Infant Massage classes and Gems provide a Day Centre, Supermarket Bus Run and Outings for the older people in the community.

Community Support Network South London (CSN) provides mental health advocacy services for clients in forensic (ie., those who have committed criminal offences and have mental health problems), in-patient and community settings.

We provide a Milly Bag to all new families whose child has been diagnosed with cancer and admitted onto Ward 84 at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Ward 3B at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Ward L31 at Leeds Children's Hospital. The Milly Bag contains essential items that will help and support families during the first few weeks on the ward and beyond.

TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF, AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO , MYALGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS (ME) , MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS) , DEPRESSION AND STRESS RELATED CONDITIONS IN ENGLAND AND WALES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE , SUPPORT , EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE.

Supporting unpaid, family carers irrespective of specialism in West Norfolk and parts of Fenland and Breckland. Offering one to one listening support, advocacy, access to support groups, workshops and complementary therapies.Acting as a strategic agency informing developments regarding family carers both county wide and nationally.

TO SUPPORT HIGH STANDARD OF PRACTICE AND TRAINING IN ENDOCRINE SURGERY. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION ORGANISE A NATIONAL AUDIT IN ENDOCRINE SURGERY AND PROVIDE TRAVEL GRANTS FOR TRAINEES TO IMPROVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ABROAD. WE ALSO REPRESENT ENDOCRINE SURGERY AS A SUB-SPECIALITY ORGANISING THE TRAINING CURRICULUM AND REQUIREMENTS OF CONSULTANT TRAINERS

Linc Charity is dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients and their families. We provide both emotional and financial support to help people who are receiving cancer care across Gloucestershire hospitals.

The Society aims to provide a forum where issues of relevance to Obstetricians and other professionals involved in maternity care are discussed. In particular the Society seeks to Disseminate knowledge, Promote research and audit, Establish good quality training programmes and Encourage development of clinical guidelines.

Kamuli Friends is a UK registered charity whose specific aim is to support Kamuli Mission Hospital in Uganda, both by raising funds for use by the hospital on capital projects, operations & medical equipment, and by encouraging volunteers (medical and non-medical) to spend some of their working time in Uganda at the hospital.

Stacey Centre is managed by The Community Association & supported by Portsmouth City Council. The centre has a five-a-side floodlit football pitch, car parking facilities & disabled access. Groups running at the centre include Nature Nursery, Men in Sheds, karate groups, dance classes, stroke club, social club for people with learning disabilities plus community orchard & community cycle project.

The WHPCA works through the collaboration and partnership with its member organisations to:a) Improve access to, and the quality of, palliative care worldwide b) Build a worldwide network of international and national palliative care organisations c) Provide or facilitate education and training in palliative care d) Increase awareness and understanding of hospice and palliative care

The Abbey Road Centre (Canolfan Abbey Road) is a community resource centre providing support, information and resources to promote better mental health. Support may be accessed via befriending and counselling, workshops and training, activities and complimentary therapies. We host other relevant organisations who deliver their services on site.

Teaching buddhism and meditation

Olive Tree Cancer Support Group is an independent charity providing support to cancer patients, their carers and families. Complementing the services provided by NHS, we provide information, emotional support and complementary therapy with an ever-expanding offer of additional services including counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy, scar therapy, lymphatic drainage massage and other workshops.

The charity, raises funds to be used for various good causes, including for the blind, elderly, sick and underprivileged people.It has helped various medical centres and educational bodies and run a Food for Life Programme as well as a cow protection scheme. Overall, apart from the above, over 85 Eye camps were carried out during the year and 4 Ambulances were donated during the year.
