Care for the poorest of the poor, the homeless, abandoned orphans, aged poor, widows, lonely, spiritually poor etc. by feeding, clothing, educating, sheltering, or providing vocational training, care for the lepers, blind, deaf & dumb as well as accident victims. We also hope to develop within the community at large respect for those who are destitute and a sense of responsibility towards them

At Earthworks people of all abilities learn and work together. Local people but particulary those with learning difficulties and mental health issues work on our sustainably managed site learning horticulture and land-based skills. Contract groups go out into the community to design and maintain private gardens and do conservation work in schools, nature reserves and public land.

Charitable Funds depend on publc donations and fund raising activities held by First Responder groups. General Funds continue to support staff retirement gifts & functions along with training and recreational activities. Lancashire & Cumbria First Responders are actively involved in continuous fund raising in support of medical equipment for services performed in the community.

The charity was founded 30 years ago to help the sick and needy in Poland. It finances medical equipment for hospitals and care homes, buys medical aid for individuals, eg prostheses, wheelchairs, pays for medicines for individuals and care homes.

The relief of children and young persons in the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk in need of care by the provision of housing, counselling and by such other means as the Trustees think fitandin or towards the advancement of the education and training of children and young persons qualified as aforesaid.

During the year the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund continued to support a wide range of charitable and health related activities benefiting both patients and staff. In general, funds are used to purchase additional equipment and services that the NHS is unable to provide from other sources.

To provide support, resources & facilities to visually impaired people across Devon by:- Offering advice and support about equipment & magnifiers. To sell equipment where required.- Informing about Charity services and signposting to other services- Matching people to trained volunteers who can visit them or take them out.- Running social and training activities- Providing grants

Sunrise provides playgroups, youth groups and drop-ins for members of the local ethnic minority communities. We also provide a confidential counselling and support service for those at risk of or experiencing domestic abuse. Through our sessions we provide advice and support on a wide range of issues affecting our users, including health, education, racial discrimination and human rights.

Operating like a foodbank, giving out bundles of essential items to people who need them in our community. We support people who are pregnant or looking after children. We provide free (mostly pre-loved) baby and child equipment and supplies, including clothing, nappies, prams, car seats, cots and bedding and safety equipment such as highchairs and stair gates.

Southampton Sight supports people with sight loss or at risk of sight loss to remainindependent. We do this by delivering services that support people to have greater independence, experience reduced isolation, achieve their own individual goals and to have greater access to sight loss resources.

Provision of holidays to children with cancer.

The main purpose of the charitable funds held on trust is to apply income for any charitable purpose relating to the National Health Service wholly or mainly for the services provided by the North East Ambulance Service

Bexley Deaf Centre provides support and encouragement to Hearing Impaired People and their families within the Bexley Borough.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES INFORMATION AND SUPPORT TO PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM FIBROMYALGIA IN THE UK. IT ALSO RAISES AWARENESS OF THE CONDITION AMONGST MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND PROMOTES RESEARCH.

a) To relieve the sickness of disabled and terminally ill children in the UK (who may be accompanied by their parents, guardians or carers) and who would not otherwise have a holiday. b) To provide holidays for other members of the community who would not otherwise have a holiday and to supply sports equipment, adapted and disability aids.

Sunday mass services, Holy Communion, Holy mass once a month on St Gabriel's day, yearly annual anniversary, baptizing children and adults, wedding Solemnization, memorial services, Befriending and counselling support for the elderly, visiting the elderly and the sick, bible Study, choir rehearsal every Saturdays, Sunday School conferences and periodically fundraising event.

St Michael and All Angels is the parish church of Ledbury. It provides the spiritual focus for the population of Ledbury through regular religious services, work with local schools, visiting local care homes and hospitals. We also work with other groups within Ledbury. As an asset to the town, the building hosts concerts and civic occasions and is a tourist attraction.

To promote the physical and mental health of children and orphans in India in particular Darul Uloom Kantharia Gujarat, India and across India through the provision of financial assistance, support education, accommodation, food and medical care and to work towards relief of financial need and suffering amongst victims of natural disasters

We provide Health and Wellbeing services mainly to people living in the London Borough of Richmond, main focus is the older residents.

A group of 11 sisters - some working as staff members in local parishes; One does complementary therapy & another dance workshops. Our priory premises are used to the full by local groups & individuals for meetings and quiet days. The Dunloe centre offers food, clothes & fellowship each week for the homeless & marginalised. The Hut York was set up to provide meaningful and purposeful activities for people with enduring mental health and/or learning disabilities. Currently there are over 200 members. At present we run session on arts, crafts, games, a men's lunch club and vocational, social and life-skills along with work experience. The activities do change and are tailored to individuals' health and interests.

We hold corporate worship services at Ollerton and Church Warsop as well as holding small group meetings called Life Groups in midweek. In midweek, we also run outreach projects such as Parent and Toddler, Make Lunch, youth activities and activities for some specialist groups such as Autism and Mental Health issues. Our method is to draw people together, to show love and to serve them.

Using students and schoolchildren [as part of their career development and work experience] to work with hospitals and residential homes to introduce stimulation, conversation and companionship to patients/residents.
