Support of a restored industrial heritage working museum at the site of the Lion Salt Works in Marston, Northwich, which was the last working open pan salt works in the UK and is now a scheduled monument. Also education by the interpretation of the history of the site and former proprietors, the heritage of salt making in Cheshire and elsewhere, the science of salt and related products.

The principal activity is the preservation of railway locomotives by voluntary means.

Preservation of the architectural and constructional heritage existing in and around Alton, Hampshire

Preserve and catalogue donated collections, arrange public events and to make presentations on the Archive contents, undertake oral history interviews, develop educational curricula for secondary schools, produce a newsletter, maintain the website, collect new collections, provide open access for those who want to consult the collections. The Archive has two locations: Leeds and Bristol.

Dame Elizabeth Gresham Trust. This bequest was made to Henfield in the 17th century and is managed by 8 trustees. The charity's principal income is from the grazing rent of two fields in Henfield and this income is distributed to organisations helping those in need at an annual church service which takes place on All Saints Day, 1st November.

The upkeep and maintenance of footpaths in the parish of Bishampton and support of the Village Hall in Bishampton.

Preservation of underground mines, mine buildings and mining heritage

St. Clement's Church in Cambridge is a building of considerable historical and architectural importance. The Friends of St Clement's Church supports the preservation of the building to enable the building to be used by the Anglican congregation and allow public access to the building.

The Gissing Trust was founded in 1978 to preserve the birthplace of the Wakefield born novelist George Gissing (1857-1903). The Gissing Centre was opened in 1990 and its aims are to acquire and display objects connected with George Gissing and the literary history of Wakefield.

The repair and maintenance of the Tetbury Parish Church clock, chimes and mechanisms, and the repair of that portion of the church tower immediately adjoining the same.

The Friends provide volunteers to carry out research and conservation, demonstrate rural crafts and help with schools' educational visits and museum outreach. They help financially with the acquisition of objects, improvement of visitor facilities and collection displays.

Provides buildings and space for community purposes; maintains the War Memorial Room.

St Mary's Church Fabric Charity exists to ensure that the historic building of St Mary's Church in Maldon, Essex is maintained so that it is fit for its primary purpose of worship and for other community gatherings. It exists for the upkeep of the fabric of the building and for the purchase of any capital items which may be needed for the furtherance of its aims.
