The Egham War Memorial Upkeep Fund is a trust set up in 1923 for the upkeep in perpetuity of the War Memorial in Egham Churchyard and in 1985 was amended to include the upkeep of other war memorials in the area of the former Civil Parish of Egham.

We aim to inject funding to convert a railway coach for use of the Disabled. We as a group have been formed and started raising funds since 1989 to get to this point of opening up this line for Disabled passengers.

The Cambridge Historical Society was started in 1923 as the Faculty's first research seminar, the following year began publishing the Cambridge Historical Journal, one of the country's leading scholarly periodicals, and more recently has been making annual awards of small grants to support research.

We have had a joiner install 'protectors' surrounding 2 valuable paintings to protect them from any wilful damage whilst on display in the Beacon Museum, Whitehaven, Cumbria. We are members of BAFM and local History Groups and invite and pay for Lectures at The Beacon Museum.

The primary objectives of IAMS are the study of and research into the history and development of metallurgical processes in any part of the world.
