A village hall providing facilities for the people of Hunsdon and its surroundings. The hall is well used by local groups, Scouts, Local History Society, Parish Council, Carpet Bowls, Badminton, Youth Club, Over Three Score Club, etc. and is available for hire for private functions.

To raise funds from members' subscriptions, from organising educational visits, functions and parties, in order to aid the development of the York Art Gallery Collection and to sponsor activities to further the appreciation of fine arts in York and its immediate surrounds.

Provide a venue for a pre school group, Brownies, fitness, sports and social groups, plus a conference room for local organisations. A mobile library uses the site car park.Available for private hire - all proceeds go to the upkeep of Hall. The memorial hall provides a meeting place for local organisations and a venue for social events. it is available for groups and individuals to hire for social and fund-raising events.

The Objects of the Charity embrace the study and promulgation of knowledge of the Orthodox monastic communities of Mount Athos, and the promotion of their religious and charitable work, along with that of others which are dependent on or connected in some way with Mount Athos. The Charity supports and organises appeals to fund the repair and restoration of monasteries and buildings on Mount Athos.

Croydon U3A provides opportunities for participation in over 65 member-led groups including languages, chess, rambling, history, Scrabble, poetry - to name but a few. There is a lively outings and holidays programme and a monthly general meeting to which an outside speaker is invited. This is facilitated through members of the society and anyone from the general public using the research centre and library, and through postal enquiries.The society holds family history events in the community within the two counties. There is a very active branch network, meetings open to all.

Promoting the education of the public in the history of the Narrow Gauge Railway and General Transport Heritage of the United Kingdom, with special emphasis to the Staffordshire area, by the creation and operation of a narrow gauge railway.
