Heritage Charities

ICOM UK is the national committee of the International Council of Museums. It organises an annual conference and delivers workshops throughout England to build the international work and profile of the UK's museums and galleries. It provides travel bursaries to members, free entry to museums in the UK and throughout the world and a global network of other museum professionals and organisations.

To collect, preserve, restore and operate as a permanent public exhibition and display for the advancement of technical, historical and general education and the demonstration of steam and other railway locomotives, rolling stock, equipment, machinery and relics of historical operations and general interest and educational value with particular reference to the former Great Western Railway.

Preservation of buildings of historical and architectural interest and letting of property

War Memorials Trust works for the protection and conservation of war memorials in the UK. The charity provides an advisory service to anyone with a war memorial enquiry or concern as well as administering grants schemes which support repair and conservation works. It also provides educational material to engage young people with our war memorial heritage. Charity 1062255 was merged with this one.

Promotes interest, research and knowledge of maritime archaeology and heritage around the globe with core activities concentrated in Great Britain and in particular Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Make It Sustainable is a charity that aims to fuel a creative, low-carbon, local economy through teaching, sharing and using making skills and promoting local resilience and cooperation. The Old Print Works is a reinvented historic building providing bespoke, versatile and fun spaces for work and leisure in the heart of Balsall Heath, giving endless reasons to meet, learn, collaborate and grow.

Social, cultural and educational activities are undertaken by the Association and these include: Youth Club, Bowls, Dominoes, Darts, Board Games, Tai chi and Zumba.Supplementary Saturday School. Health Promotional events. Computer classes.Annual Derby Caribbean Carnival. Annual Summer Scheme.Black History month activities. Annual Youth Conference. Annual Christmas dinner.

Promotion of art and arts activities by providing studios for artists, a gallery programme and an education facility.

The Dutch Masters Foundation support helps each of these three Dutch cultural giants (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Royal Picture Gallery Mauritshuis) to continue to inspire, entertain and educate global audiences for generations to come.

Coney makes interactive theatre - creating games, adventures and play where people can choose to take a meaningful part. Our work takes place anywhere that people gather providing great art for everyone; in theatres, schools, museums, on the streets and online. We offer bespoke development support to artists, makers and game designers.

To preserve and maintain for the benefit of the towns people of Sheffield the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the Cutlers Hall.
