Heritage Charities

We are an organisation which provides public access to art, artists, workshops, exhibitions and festivals in order to educate and engage the public, of all ages, in the arts and artistic practices in a wide range of art-forms. This takes place at 4/5 Northumberland Place, Teignmouth where TAAG provides gallery and studio spaces and, from time to time, at various other venues in the area.

The Ropewalk (Barton) charity run The Ropewalk Arts Centre and Museum in Barton upon Humber.

To advance the education of the public by the promotion and support of the charitable activities of Beamish the North of England Open Air Museum. In furtherance of these objects the Friends undertake restoration work, and generally encourage interest in the history of the region and the work of the Museum. In 2008 the Friends contributed approximately 8,500 volunteer hours in these activities.

Grade 1 listed manor house and grounds open to public and visitors.

The objects of the charity are to preserve, protect and improve, for the benefit of the general public, the natural history,historical, archaeological and religious sites and other amenities of Bardsey Island.The Charity's vision is also for Enlli (Bardsey Island) to continue as the exemplar of Welsh island life that supports a vibrant island community.

To provide exhibitions and events at Lake Gallery and Dilston Gallery in Southwark Park. To develop community learning projects at both venues involving all people to benefit from experiencing the arts as practitioners and audiences.

The support of Monasticism, Sacred Sites and Reincarnated Saints. Including the establishment of western monasteries and support and restoration of Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries. The support of a broad range of charitable initiatives in China-Tibet, Nepal and India to relieve poverty, sickness and advance education in its widest sense.Other charitable initiatives for benefit of all beings.

The provision of a repertory theatre in Rugby and the furtherance of education on the history, art and practice of drama.

Restoring an eighteenth century building and gardens to provide facilities/open space/education

Preserve and maintain the property known as Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall. Establish and maintain a museum in the property.

Providing activities for children, young people and adults in order to have fun, meet friends, learn new skills, visit new places by participating in sports, arts and crafts, cookery, photography, performing arts, singing, dancing, gardening, games, quizzes, history, heritage, day trips, residentials, engaging with the community and programmes to promote independence and life skills.

The advancement of education for the benefit of the community by the establishment and running of a study centre with exhibition facilities devoted to the history and technical importance of Ettore Bugatti and cars and other products which he created.

To assemble at Hollycombe a comprehensive collection of working steam engines and equipment performing, so far as possible, their original functions

Repair, restoration and maintenance of Beverley Minster.

The Museum saves, cares for and uses local heritage artefacts to tell the story of the people of East Dorset. The Museum offers an extensive learning programme with family activities and children's events regularly organised throughout the year. A regular temporary exhibition programme shares local stories and history. The Priest's House Museum Trust trades as the Museum of East Dorset.

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and preservation of the historical architectural, archaeological and natural heritage of Landguard Point and surrounding areas by working with stakeholders and partners, andby providing or assisting in the provision of advice, support and grants.

Acquiring, maintaining and restoring the Lowestoft Smack "Excelsior" LT472 and providing facilities for young people to sail thereby maintaining their maritime heritage

The aim if the Society is to promote the arts. The policy is to provide musical and other entertainment including events for young people, in a historical setting that can be enjoyed by a wide spectrum of residents.The principal activity is to provide an annual festival at Windsor and the neighbouring area in the autumn and a smaller event in the spring.

This charity provides income to support the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society (Charity No. 309534).

We offer a variety of programmes and projects that cater to different age groups and needs, all with the aim of increasing wellbeing, opportunities and fulfilling potential. From functional skills maths and English, furniture restoration to art sessions and one to one support we help develop people's confidence, skills and achievements with support and guidance at every step of the way.

The principal activity of the company is the advancement of education by commissioning and publishing 'Catalogue Raisonnes' of modern artists, not yet adequately covered by published material. Whilst the charity?s principal focus remains on catalogues raisonnes, it also extends the remit to educational books about art and its history more generally.

Bedford Creative Arts works collaboratively with artists and the people of Bedfordshire to create new high quality art with the communities around us centred around the values of engagement, inclusion and inspiration, with the aim of enhancing and transforming the quality of people's lives especially in areas where there is a history of low cultural engagement.

The Society promotes the study of garden history through the publication of a journal, 'Garden History' and an annual conference, lectures, seminars and visits. The Society promotes the protection and conservation of historic parks, gardens and designed landscapes through a Conservation Committee and a team of Conservation Officers.

Owns and manages Whitby Museum in North Yorkshire, which includes a Library and Document Archive, on behalf of the people of Whitby.
