The object of The Sainsbury Archive is to advance education for the public benefit by collecting, maintaining and displaying items and documents relating to the history of Sainsbury's and the family of John James Sainsbury.

To promote public awareness and knowledge of London waterways and to provide educational opportunities for young people at the museum. Also to preserve objects of historical interest for public benefit.

Fuse Art Space is an art gallery, performance venue and arts education project in Bradford, West Yorkshire. It curates and hosts concerts, performances, exhibitions and workshops, and provides opportunities for people from Bradford and the region to enjoy, engage with, learn about and participate in art, music and performance activities.

THE COMPANY IS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE AT THE MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY FACILITIES AND PREMISES TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS AND CRAFTS AND THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL HISTORY OF KESWICK AND THE SURROUNDING REGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

Soul Foundation's mission is to give hope to the destitute, restoring dignity, by ending cycles of poverty, addiction, abuse and violence. Our aims are to promote social justice, mercy, accountability, restoration and hope. The Foundation works locally and globally both independently and in partnership with other charitable organisations working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The Society seeks to promote interest in, and raise awareness of the archaeology, ethnography and heritage of Sudan and Egyptian Nubia. It organises a series of lectures and colloquia, publishes an annual journal, "Sudan and Nubia", together with scholarly monographs. The Society raises funds, some of which are disbursed as grants for archaeological survey and excavation projects.

Restoration and maintenance of heritage LNER carriages for the public to enjoy and travel in on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR). Training volunteers and educating the public in the techniques of heritage railway coach building.Building a library of technical knowledge for sharing with other heritage carriage restorers

Bensham Grove Community Centre is a Grade II listed building and gardens, conserved by the trustees, of historical significance holding original Georgian and Arts and Crafts features. The Centre is a venue for community activities and groups to meet, it is a venue for Adult learning courses and workshops and it hosts events throughout the year to include the diverse community it serves.

Our historic locomotive is operational on the main line railway network and goes all over the country. We also go to private railways, where our members and the general public see her at close quarters. This year we are taking part in the Railways 200 events as holder of the post-war speed record for steam trains of 112mph. Looking to the future we encourage junior volunteers to learn skills.

The principal activity of the charity is the advancement of public education in the natural history and geology of Dorset.

The principal activities of the Trust continue to be the management and conservation of the Trust's properties.

The Old Kiln Museum CIO owns and operates the Rural Life Living Museum, Farnham Surrey. The Museum was founded in 1973 by Madge and Henry Jackson. (Old Kiln Museum, then Rural Life Centre.) The CIO keeps and continues to develop the museum collection, operating the museum for the benefit of the public telling the story of how we lived, tools trades and professions in the English countryside.

The Charitable Trust is the charity partner of The Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars, a City of London Livery Company. It provides grants and awards in the areas of fine and decorative arts, antiques and antiquities, and also arts education, restoration and conservation. In addition it supports the charitable initiatives of the Lord Mayor and the Corporation of the City of London.

The Soldiers Of Gloucestershire Museum exists to collect, conserve & display objects relating to The Gloucestershire Regiment & The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars, for the benefit of the citizens of Gloucestershire, Bristol and the general public, in particular the collections are used in support of the national curriculum and furtherance of study of the military history of Gloucestershire.

1) Tours of historic, restored water mill - to public and educational groups. 2) Mount exhibitions in Art Gallery by a range of artists including community groups. 3) Educate the public in the history of the architecture of the mill, mills in general and an appreciation of the arts. 4) Provide space in Mill buildings for artisan crafts, workshops, food retailers, cafe/restaurant and gift shop.

TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE ART FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGH THE SUSTAINABLE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL WORKS OF SIGNIFICANT CULTURAL VALUE AND CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES, THROUGH THE USE OF NON-CONTACT RECORDING AND DOCUMENTATION METHODS.

Awards Main Foundation Grants to help women in the final year of a PhD.Awards Emergency Grants to graduate women on a post graduate course who then face an unforeseeable financial crisis.Awards Theodora Bosanquet bursaries are offered annually to women graduates whose research in History or English Literature requires a short residence in London.

Matt's Gallery creates opportunities for artists to push the boundaries of their practice, providing space, support, mentoring and resources for artists at all stages of their careers to create ambitious new works. Matt's Gallery presents free and accessible exhibitions of high quality visual contemporary arts, engaging students in free talks and seminars with artists and staff.

Religious Activities

Art History Link-Up (AHLU) offers free-of-charge accredited Art History courses to state school students, taught in galleries, schools and online. Art History A level is taught in less than 1% of state schools. Yet we have taught over 600 young people from diverse backgrounds, from 300 state schools across the UK. Our students are transforming the sector and securing a vibrant future for the arts.

The charity provides a museum of local history for Marlow and District, based in the Peacock Room at Court Garden, Pound Lane, Marlow, Bucks.

Public place of worship open to all. Teach and preach christianity. Commemorative and celebratory events. Pastoral work; visiting the sick and bereaved. Discussion groups; School assemblies; Sunday School; all age activities; Choir; host concerts. Manage hall for communal use. Stage meetings and events. Produce and distribute literature. Support other charities. Maintain grade 2 listed building.

The charity manages and operates St George's Theatre, housed in a Grade I listed former chapel, together with the neighbouring Pavilion cafe bar and outside performance area, to provide a balanced and broad range of cultural activities including theatre, cinema, performing arts, comedy, and music for the whole community.
