Support to needy elderly and young families by issuing vouchers in Summer and Christmas time, that can be exchanged for goods in a supermarket in the Marlow. A Victorian charity, but now trading as Marlow United Charities, was 9 smaller charities but merged in 1898. Its main charitable service is the distribution of food vouchers in summer and Christmas time to needy families in the town.

The aim of the Trust is to preserve Twyford Waterworks as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and to develop its educational and leisure potential through the formation of a Museum of Water Supply.

The upkeep and maintenance of a village hall which, for the public benefit, is available for hire within the local area for business, social and recreational purposes.

Maintain and enhance Cooper Art Collection, make it accessible to general public and to encourage and promote art generally in the Barnsley Metropolitan District.

Education and research

The trustees administer and maintain a building for the use of by local charities, organisations and inhabitants of Wilton and the surrounding areas for such activities as fund raising, meeting facilities and recreational purposes.The work of maintaining a booking diary, keeping accounts and daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility is undertaken by the trustees with the help of a caretaker.

The Charity provides 7 homes for residents in peaceful, maintained gardens.Residents live rent free and make a modest contribution towards heating bills and the fabric. Each unit has an allotment if required. The Charity is independent and receives no regular financial help.Local organizations have helped with renovation and restoration programs.

We bring ringers together, and represent them nationally and internationally, to promote public awareness of church bells and change ringing. The Adnams Community Trust supports good causes within 25 miles of Southwold. Grants range from £100 to £2,500. National charities may apply providing the grant is for use exclusively within the Adnams Community Trust catchment area. Grants are made under the headings of Health & Social Welfare, Education, Recreation, The Arts, Buildings/Community Facilities, History, Environment/Conservation.

The objects are the repair and maintenance of the Church of St James, Clerkenwell and the furtherance of the charitable work of that church.

The British Institute of Organ Studies (BIOS) exists to encourage and promote the study of the pipe organ, its history and design, and to increase appreciation and understanding of its music by both organists and the general public. The society serves effectively as the amenity society for the British organ and lobbies Governmentand other national bodies on behalf of the instrument.

To inform and educate the serving Corps and the general public on the history and traditions of the Royal Marines and to initiate, support or carry out the necessary research to achieve these objectives.
