The Village Hall has 2 halls with modern facilities available to rent for events. activities include WI, Keep fit, Flower Club, Scottish Dancing, Mini Athletics, Hartbeeps, Tiny Talk, Yoga, Box n Burn, U3A . It is also the meeting point for High Lane Residents' Association, High Lane Village Forum & High Lane Allotments.

To promote and foster the study of the history, archaeology and antiquities of Nottinghamshire for the public benefit and to promote and foster public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Nottinghamshire's history generally.

PROMOTION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION AND APPRECIATION OF THE HISTORY AND DESIGN OF ANTIQUES AND OTHER WORKS OF ART AND TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES REQUIRED IN RESTORING AND CONSERVING ANTIQUES AND OTHER WORKS OF ART.

Meldreth Village Hall provides local, affordable facilities for a wide range of activities supporting all age groups. It offers an excellent venue for key activities such as Babies and Toddlers' Groups, Table Tennis, Local History Society, Children's parties, WI, Keep fit, Dancing, family parties. All these activities are essential to the maintenance and development of village life.

Monitoring the state of the War Memorial in Greenhead Park and providing grants to charitable organisations in the Huddersfield area which provide for Ex Servicemen and for the Sick and Needy.

Distribute income to organisations in Belford village

The Society's object is to promote the study of construction history for the public benefit. The Society organizes seminars and meetings, sponsors publications, assists the identification and preservation of archives, artifacts and records, co-ordinates and disseminates information in respect of construction, raises funds by way of subscriptions, sale of publications and seminars and conferences

Like all village halls in the country we are an independently run charity; serving the local communities. We fundraise for various charities and for the upkeep and maintenance of our hall; we run weekly bingo sessions and line dancing classes. We also host various events eg psychic evenings, quizzes, race nights and dances etc.We are available for private hire at a reasonable cost.

Maintenance and upkeep of the Village Hall which is to benefit the local community by providing a venue for a variety of social activities.

The Village Hall is the centre of social activities in the village particularly so since the closure of the one and only public house in the village. A variety of users includes the Toddler Group, Pilates, local history group, birthday parties, weddings etc The Hall is also used as a refuge centre in the event of an emergency.

Promote the study of family history and provide information and education services to facilitate this study.

Carry out fundraising activities such as Spring and Christmas Fairs, Quiz Nights and Book Sales to support special purchases and projects for the Museum.Provide volunteer support for the Museums events.

Organise exhibitions and public events in libraries and other public places to promote the interest in old toys and toy theatre for educational and research purposes. Publish printed and online material relating to the Charity's objectives. Work with Pollock's Toy Museum on conservation and cataloguing of the collections.

Promoting research, scholarship and public interest in the history of philosophy.

To raise monies to relieve patients and former patients of Andover War Memorial Hospital and Healthcare centres and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm and generally to support the charitable works of the Hospital and Healthcare centres

FoBP seeks to act for the public benefit to secure the preservation, protection and improvement of the Park as a place of historic and ecological interest, beauty, rest and recreation; to promote the conservation of the plant, animal and bird life of the Park and the Park as a semi-natural habitat for wildlife; and to inform the public of the history, natural history and other aspects of the Park.

To record and preserve records relating to family history in the county of Cambridgeshire. To make those records available to the public. To educate the public in family history research.

Primarily to encourage interest in Industrial Heritage, particularly the stationary steam engine as widely used in the textile industry throughout the north of England. The Society has developed a museum at the Bolton Steam Museum where its collection of some 29 steam engines can be seen working in steam by the public on regular Open Days.

The promotion and advancement of the knowledge of the history of scientific artifacts and their preservation.

Each year we arrange 10 lectures on Arts subjects, 5 visits to museums, galleries and places of interest and 2 special interest days for members and their guests from the public to attend. We supported Young Arts by providing bursaries to two students of easel conservation at the Hamilton Kerr Institute. We also support volunteer Church Recorders and two groups of Heritage Volunteers.

The Trustees of the charity look after the maintenance and repair of the Chapel and Schoolroom buildings and provide a minister for the Chapel services for the benefit of the Congregation and the general public.

Museum Operation & Other Charitable Purposes

The charity promotes the efficiency of the armed forces of the crown by supporting the welfare of former and serving personnel and by commerating the traditions & history of the regiment.

To raise funds for the support of the parish Church of St Mary Redcliffe in the City of Bristol, especially for the restoration and upkeep of the fabric of the Church and churchyard; and (inter alia) towards the education of the general public in relation to the history of the parish of St Mary Redcliffe.
