The Restoration Chapel is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and conducts Christian activities for the benefit of the local community and the congregation.

To maintain, restore and preserve Fort Amherst and Lower Lines Park. To make the Fort and Lower Lines Park available as a public amenity and education facility. To provide benefit to the socially disadvantaged through training, education and work experience.

The charity is responsible for the care and the permanent public display of the Sunbury Millennium Embroidery and for the maintenance and administration of the gallery that houses the work. Entry to the view the work is free and talks are regularly given to visiting groups including local schools. The gallery hosts accompanying exhibitions and engages in a number of community projects.

To promote and encourage the study of Iran, its history, civilisation and culture in all periods, including the archaeology of Iran

To secure for the public benefit, the preservation, protection and improvement of listed buildings adjoining Tewkesbury Abbey. To educate the public in the history architecture and natural history of the area around Tewkesbury by the running of a museum.To provide a community and pleasure garden for the residents of Tewkesbury and its visitors.

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

Raising money to fund repair, restoration and improvement work at the church of St. Thomas of Canterbury, East Clandon

The preservation for the benefit of the public of Historic Libraries and the Mappa Mundi.The provision of funds towards the cost of erecting a building to house and display the Historic Libraries and Mappa Mundi.The provision of support for all or any of the charitable purposes to which the capitular revenues of the Dean and Chapter of Hereford Cathedral are applicable.

The administration and maintenance of the property belonging to the charity and known as The Wardrobe, at Salisbury, in the County of Wiltshire; and2 The provision and maintenance of a public museum for the exhibition to the public of documents, artefacts and other items connected with the Former Regiments (the "Regimental Collection").

Operating The British Schools Museum, a museum of the history of elementary education within a group of Grade II and II* Listed buildings (dating 1837 to 1905). Artifacts and documents collection relating to the education and social history of childhood. Volunteering opportunities, education programmes for schools and outreach programmes. Fundraising programmes of talks, concerts and other events.

During the year the charity has continued to hold fellowship meetings every Sunday with congregations increasing week on week. The charity has also provided in-depth training for men, women and children in areas such as family support, life skills, social restoration, motivation and Christian principles.

Our Main Activities: Opening the museum on average 6 days each week throughout the year, making our collection available to the visiting public, providing a high-quality research service for the public, developing the museum?s collection and displays for the future public benefit, planning and raising funds to sustain and develop the work of the museum and support its long-term sustainability.

The education of the public by promoting, supporting, assisting and improving Bristol's Museums, Galleries & Archives through the activity of a group of supporters.

To preserve for the benefit of the townspeople of the District of Colchester and North East Essex......whatever of the historical,architectural and constructional heritage may exist in and around the District.....in the form of buildings....of particular beauty or historical or constructional interest.

Inform and encourage the engagement of the public and armed forces personnel, including members of the Army Medical Services (AMS), in the role of the AMS in pioneering medical developments and innovations, in particular those that have subsequently been adopted into civilian healthcare practice, to the benefit of the health and wellbeing of the British public at large and humankind in general.

Time Banks UK is a national charity and our aim is to create an environment where time banking can flourish. We provide inspiration, information and practical support for time banking to become a part of everyday life for everyone. We see time banking as the best way to restore a sense of good neighbourliness, to rebuild our communities and to encourage people to be active citizens.

The Marc Fitch Fund supports research and publication, chiefly in the local and regional history of the British Isles, in the fields of Archaeology, History, Historical Geography, History of Art and Architecture, Heraldry and Genealogy.

The main purpose of the charity is to educate the public in the history of historic military vehicles, primarily concerning the Second World War, and to preserve and restore and maintain historic military vehicles and related equipment.

To provide a place of interest and education for the general public , to appreciate the history of the motor vehicle, and become involved via workshops with the restoration and maintenance of the vehicles

Under the guidance of its Board of Directors, the foundation will enhance the in-depth understanding, cultural value and global enjoyment of art from Africa by undertaking the following: - preserve, collect and document art works and scholarly writings; - facilitate the public exhibitions of Modern Contemporary African Art; - nurture innovation and substance in art historical research;

To advance the education of the public through the preservation, operation and exhibition of locomotives and rolling stock of historic and scientific importance in particular the InterCity 125 or High Speed Train by providing working exhibits of said locomotives and related rolling stock.

Enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and to become part of our parish community. Our Services and Worship put faith into practice through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament. To welcome pilgrims, tourists and the public to our historic building; to facilitate education and provide information to those visitors.
