Mission Statement : The Burford Tolsey Museum & Archive exists to serve the interest of the people of Burford and the general public in the in the cultural heritage of the Town and neighbourhood, by preserving and exhibiting collections that aim to convey its unique and remarkable history.

Presenting and interpreting the heritage of Congleton and surrounding area through its collections to residents and visitors by permanent and temporary exhibitions; delivering effective educational and research opportunities for all ages and abilities; collecting and conserving objects associated primarily with the history of the area to support the Museum's educational and learning activities.

Running Burwell Museum of Fen Edge Village Life (including public open days)

Provision of village hall for parish events, meetings, social activities together with recreation ground for sporting activities. The geographical area covered is the parish of Tidenham although the use of the facilities is open to all for booking events.

Activities connected with the use of the Epworth Memorial Field

To advance the education of the public about Armenia, its people, history, litriture, language, institutions and its intelectual artistic and economic life.To relieve or assist in the relief of poverty amongst the Armenians living in the U nited KingdomTo provide for the upkeep furnishing and repair of any Armenian Church established in the Un ited Kingdom

Provides a facility/venue for clubs, societies, private individuals for social and recreational activities.

Path Head Water Mill is a restored 1730 working waterwheel and museum, set in a beautiful tranquil environment in Summerhill, Blaydon. With free entry, and a volunteer-run cafe in the summer, visitors can enjoy the grounds. We are open and accessible to a wide range of volunteers. The Mill offers educational and family activities and provides experiences for all ages and abilities.

Holds regular meetings where members can learn to record buildings or practise their skills.Holds an annual day course on a theme of interest to members.Issues a regular newsletter.Publishes books and articles.Offers advice and information on Wiltshire historic buildings.

Restoration and Preservation of historic buildings in the southern area of the Test Valley.

Collection and transcription of original source material in the Essex Record Office, in Essex churches and churchyards, in Essex parish registers etc. Production of CDs of this material to widen access to these records.Monthly meetings and talks on local and family history at four venues across Essex.Attendance/promotion of Fairs / Open Days at Libraries and similar institutions.

Raising and administering funds for the preservation of St Mary's Parish Church, Nantwich, Cheshire.

The Society covers the ancient county of Lincolnshire and exists to aid anyone with ancestors from Lincolnshire. We accept members from anywhere in the world; hold local meetings; work at local record repositories to help preserve and make accessible archive material. Our research centre is a repository for the results of our own work and a place where members and non-members may come to research.

To increase public awareness of history in Essex and in particular of the existence and activities of the Victoria County History of Essex; and to raise funds to support the research and writing of the VCH Essex.

We provide rooms for hire by the general public and organisations for, dancing, parties, concerts, craft fairs, car boot sales, sports such as Judo, short mat bowls, adult education classes,lectures, recreation, art and business meetings etc.

The object of the group shall be to preserve, restore, exhibit and operate for the benefit of the public ex British Rail Class 37 (English Electric) diesel locomotives (s) of historical interest.

We provide manpower and resources to maintain buildings and run museum, provide projects for schools & pre-school groups, care homes, clubs etc, open 7 days week to general public. Supply information on maritime matters and local history in answer to enquiries from around the world.

Building for community and private hire

To advance education and learning with particular reference to the social, political and literary history of England in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the authorship of the literary works commonly attributed to William Shakespeare, the charity holds conferences and other suitable events and projects, bringing together individual researchers and members of the public to explore these subjects.

Community Centre is for the use of the inhabitants of Menai Bridge and the neighbourhood, for meetings, education, recreation and leisure activities

Providing help and support for people wanting to discover their ancestors and to provide a resource centre for that purpose.

Conservation of historic bicycles and associated effemera. Education and enlightenment/entertainment of the public. Indirect support of vulnerable individuals.

The Bell Restoration Fund provides financial assistance to churches in and around the county of Middlesex and the Diocese of London for the purpose of restoring and improving their bell installations. This includes the repair, replacement re-tuning and re-hanging of bells; the provision of additional bells, frames and fittings and the erection of the same in churches; and installing sound control.
