Thornton & Allerton Community Association manage South Square Centre, a series of Grade II listed workers cottages. The charity runs and a range of arts, community, heritage and wellbeing activities. Rents from small emerging businesses and artists' studios and a team of volunteers underpin the organisation. Wet also apply for grants to run outreach programmes, internships and community events.

The Friends of the Ipswich Museums is an organisation which supports the work of the Ipswich Museum, Christchurch Mansion and the High Street Art Gallery. We help with grants for new museum acquisitions, conservation work, exhibitions and museum development. We hold talks, excursions and social events throughout the year to keep our membership involved in everything that we do.

The restoration and conservation of the Suffolk and Essex River Stour Navigation for the education and benefit of the public.

Barnsley Museums and Heritage Trust is a Development Trust set up to raise funds and support Barnsley Museums which currently include: Cannon Hall, Worsbrough Mill, Cooper Gallery, Elsecar Heritage Centre and Experience Barnsley. Barnsley Museums are owned and operated by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council and other properties may join the group in due course.
