To preserve for the benefit of the people of Oxfordshire and of the nation at large, whatever of the English historical, architectural and constructional heritage may exist in Oxfordshire in the form of buildings and also any garden or plant or machinery irrespective of whether it is associated with a building of particular beauty or historical, or architectural, or constructional interest.

The Upwey & Broadwey Memorial Hall is venue where several rooms can be hired by the local community for various groups, activities, parties etc.

Income of the Trust to be used for: i) the expenses of administrationii) the maintenance and improvement of the libraryiii) provision of the library facilities over and above those under the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964

The society's objectives are to stimulate public interest in the beauty, history and character of the town of Lewes and its surrounding area; to organise concerted action for protecting and enhancing the townscape of Lewes and the architectural, visual and historic interest of Lewes and the surrounding area and for preserving free access to the latter; and to co-operate with kindred societies. The charity runs the local Memorial Hall which consists of a large main hall plus a meeting room. Main users/activities are:a)Village-run societies: toddlers, over 60s, WI, history, Craft and angling societiesb)Commercial Users: ballet, ballroom dance, fitness groups including yoga, zumba, pilates, karate, others requiring a meeting room

To acquire land, buildings and artefacts which belonged to the original Cambrian Railways Company in order to preserve them as a permanent working exhibition.

Essentially we are a village hall, providing low cost space to village groups,organisations and providing space for private events such as childrens parties, anniversaries etcWe have some 20 regular organisations using the hall from the Players on a weekly basis to recreational groups meeting once a month

maintaining the Patcham Memorial Hall for use by the local community.

Encouraging and enabling local history research in Hornsey parish, part of Haringey. Publishing original research for educational use, an annual bulletin and four newsletters for members.Sales of publications to general public. Talks to local schools and community organisations. Acquisition and preservation of archive material and advice to general public on local history issues. Monthly lectures.

Preserving the history of March & District in the form of artefacts, photographs and documents. Making this information available to the general public during our regular opening times, via the Internet, mail or telephone, by specially arranged group visits from schools and other groups and by outreach. We also engage academically and socially with other local groups.

To provide funds for the maintenence and restoration of All Saints Church, Campton, Beds

Exmouth Museum preserves artefacts for the history of Exmouth. These are displayed for residents and visitors to the town to see on their visits. Groups are also able to visit the museum for tours and guided information. Talks are given to outside organisations and there are information and educational packs.

Organises walks and talks, carries out surveys and research into the natural history of the region, publishes two journals annually, the Avon Bird Report, and Nature in Avon, supports other conservation activity in the region.

To promote and encourage the study of Irish genealogy and to collect books and manuscripts of genealogical value.Has a library of books and documents relating mainly to Irish Family History, currently in store. Materials can be retrieved upon request by members.Publishes some records relating to Irish Family History on Society's website.For details see the Society's website.

To manage a local village hall facility for the benefit of the general public

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall that was built in memory of the men of the village of Downley who lost their lives in the two World Wars. Hall was built in 1924.

FOR THE PURPOSES OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF STATHERN IN THE COUNTY OF LEICESTER WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The Trust works closely with Plymouth Social Isolation Forum to find novel ways to bring isolated and lonely people together at Thorn Park Lodge. It also runs recall reminiscence sessions, practical science-based workshops, helps raise children's aspirations in novel ways. It has a pharmaceutical museum, library, a medicinal garden and is planning an exciting Heritage Health Science Exploratory.

The Friends make grants available to the potteries museums and art gallery and Gladstone Industrial Museum to enable them to acquire objects and carry out activities which they would otherwise not be able to do. The friends therefore only indirectly help the classifications shown above.
