The Association is a wholly independent organisation dedicated to sustaining the traditional character of the New Forest, by:Preserving scenery, wildlife & wilderness quality. Resisting exploitation and over commercialisation by public/private bodies. Supporting commoning as the effective method of land management. Encouraging the restoration of ancient woodlands and mires

Grant giving charity and offering the following categories of grants to individuals or community based organisations within the boundaries of East Wickham and Welling: Capital Grants for Improvements to Premises, Grants Towards the Hire of Premises and Individual Grants for Character Building Courses or Expeditions. The Trustees also offer an academic bursary.

Financial support for Little Malvern Priory, especially towards the maintenance and repair of the fabric and the furniture and fittings of the church.

To advance religion in accordance with the Jewish faith by the provsion of a synagogue for the purpose of pubic worship and to advance education amongst children and adults in conetmporary Judaism, Jewish history, culture, theology and literugy and the understanding of multi-cultural Judaism.

The hall provides facilities for numerous activities including badminton, keep fit, dancing, art classes, performing arts, dog training, cubs. Additionally, villagers may hire the hall for parties, wedding receptions, quizzes etc. The hall committee run a pensioners party, and a flower and produce show.

The village is a thriving community (approx 500 dwellings and 1200 residents). Many residents support the hall and it is key to village life. The hall is used by 16 regular groups including, Indoor Bowls, Karate, Keep Fit, Scouts, History Society, Parent and Toddler group, Dancing etc plus numerous ad hoc functions. There is a successful amateur Dramatic group with an active youth section.

FSLS is concerned wth Environment/Conservation/Heritage and organises a series of educational walks around Frome during the summer.which are designed to help residents/other groups appreciate the economic and social history of the town and the fine selection of Frome's magnificent buildings.Helps Charities and other voluntary bodies,makes Grants to organisations, sponsors or undertakes research.

To work for the public benefit in creating environmental awareness and in stimulation and encouraging an understanding of and active involvement in the protection, conservation, and practical improvement of features of general and public amenity or historical interest within the landscape,and in doing so provides grants to assist in the process.

Promotion and advancement of the arts through a programme of Talks, Outings, volunteering, recording local artefacts, and financial support of the arts in local schools and other organisations. In furtherance of this purpose the Society shall have power to arrange lectures and organise appropriate activities including visits to houses, collections, museums and other places of relevant interest.

Provide grants towards projects which are in accordance with the objects of the charity ("In or towards the upkeep and maintenance of the church (being the parish church of St John in Bedwardine, St Johns, Worcester)")

Preservation of and restoration of railway locomotives and artefacts.

Maintenance and repair of cemetery memorials and memorial garden for victims of the Aberfan Disaster 1966

The charity's purpose is to manage the Village Hall. In that respect it raises funds through various charitable events throught the year and through the letting of the hall. The funds raised are used for the upkeep and repair of the Hall.

Knottingley Town Hall Community Centre aims to provide and encourage local activities to take place in its historic and iconic Victorian building in the centre of Knottingley.We support:small groups of clubsassociationsmeetings/groups Our aim is to remain open and continue to add value to community life in Knottingley and the surrounding villages and the surrounding villages.

The Charity is a local village hall. There is a village hall managent committee which is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hall and the administration involved with letting of the hall for use by local groups, and for ah-hoc use such as weddings and parties.

The repair and maintenance and keeping in proper condition the bell ropes in the belfry of the Parish Church of St. Martins Birmingham and the provision of new bell ropes as and when required.If sufficient funds remain then the residue of income maybe used in defraying certain expenses incurred by the Parochial Church Council of St Martins.

To provide facilities and amenities for social welfare, particularly a centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Llanidloes and the neighbourhood, without discrimination of any kind, and to provide education, particularly in the arts and with special regard to the history, crafts and culture of the area of benefit.

Maintenance of the village hall as a War Memorial.Holds recreational activities for the benefit of the local community

To finance the maintenance and improvement of Lytham, St John's bells to enable the bells to be rung for services, weddings, funerals, national and local celebrations to proclaim a Christian witness in the Parish and wider community. Also to ensure the bells remain in ringable condition to enable new ringers of all ages and from all sections of the community to be encouraged to learn bell ringing.

The provision of affordable accomodation to various organisations thoughout the year and rental to casual users, plus the annual Remebrance Day service in November

The charity is divided into three branches:The general charity contributes exclusively to the benefit of the inhabitants of Felsham. The church charity contributes exclusively to the repair and maintenance of St Peter's Church, Felsham. The bread charity benefits the poor and necessitous people of Felsham according to circumstances.

Preserving, extending & refurbishing a 3-bedroom Victorian house in its own large conservation grounds to use as a Community Centre for all ages. Meaningful activities & education for advancement of young people. Non-alcohol premises. Safe environment for women & children.
