Promoting the ringing of church bells to call people to worship. Providing grants for restoring, maintaining, improving or preserving church bells in Sussex for ringing in churches. Providing training and skill development grants to young people learning change ringing on tower or hand bells. Encouraging the recruitment and training of all ringers and advancing the art of change ringing.

Local village Hall facilities that serve Tilston and the surrounding area.

The advancement of public education by the provision of a museum.

Organises lectures, seminars and workshops for members and the public. Publishes guides to the study of Jewish Genealogy available to all, a journal (Shemot) and newsletter. Operates a library open to all by arrangement. Promotes research into Jewish family history. Provides websites open to all containing details of more than 1000 Jewish communities in Great Britain.

The BNHS was formed in 1946 and its main function is to record the flora and fauna of the county of Bedfordshire. Over 20 recorders cover many branches of natural history study and their annual reports are published in the Bedfordshire Naturalist. The Society depends on annual subscriptions and members receive quarterly newsletter Wild about Beds and programmes of meetings.

To preserve for the benefit of the public such of the historical architectural or constructional heritage as may exist in Surrey in the form of buildings, gardens, plant, machinery or monuments. The Trust may purchase, sell or restore buildings, make grants and provide advice to owners, work in conjunction with public or charitable bodies and foster interest by way of visits and lectures.

Provision of a village hall for the purpose of meetings of local organisations, entertainment and social functions.

The Group promotes and encourages the general education of the public in the study of ceramics, primarily of the Middle Ages. The Group holds meetings, conferences, publishes a journal and disseminates information to: the membership, the general public, other archaeologists, persons in allied fields and communicates the professional requirements of the membership to public and private bodies.

Our role is to maintain and improve our hall and facilities which provide a village focal point for leisure, cultural and community activities. In addition we provide and support charitable activities in the local community

Collects and restores old cinema projection equipment for display and the education of people of all walks of life in particular school children.

Publication of the annual 'Records of Buckinghamshire', the publication of record for the archaeology and history of Buckinghamshire. The publications of books and pamphlets on subjects of interest to members of the Society and to others having an interest in the archaeology and history of Buckinghamshire. Organising public lectures and visits to places of interest for members of the Society.

The Friends of Edenbridge Memorial Health Centre supports the new health centre, opened in November 2023, upon the closure of the Edenbridge Memorial Hospital. It provides funds and equipment to pay for those items/services for which the NHS is unable to pay. Its main objective is to support local NHS services and to fundraise in the community so as to fund essential support.

Education grants to under 25s in the Lichfield Diocese and upkeep and maintenance of Holy Angels Church Hoar Cross and Church Cottage.

We manage 5 grade 2 listed almshouses.

Around 8 social events held each year for parishioners and their friends. Several education classes including music, art & history. Hall can be hired for a range of activities including parish council meetings, art exhibitions, private parties. The main aims of these activities are to maintain and develop this historic building as a focal point for all members of the community.

The provision of public open space for healthful recreation and a museum that will advance education through its day to day operation

Organise and arrange talks/lectures on local historical matters for our community. Maintain, operate and staff the Town,s Museum including fund raising for it,s upkeep.Provide historical information to the local schools and organisations as and when required.Organise ,record and safely store historical records in a local Mansion.

The Society has the following aims:1. The encouragement of high standards of architecture and town planning.2. The stimulation of public interest in the beauty, history and character of the area.3. The preservation, development and improvement of features of public amenity and historical interest. 4. The implementation of these ends by exhibitions, lectures, publications and other means.

Management of the Waunfawr Community Hall and the adjacent two recreation areas of Maes Cartrefle and Maes Ceinion.Development, maintenance and repair of the above hall and adjacent areasOrganisation of activities for the residents of Waunfawr.

The charity is involved in restoration of the old forge, together with its wheels and drive belts, in order to preserve something that is part of our national heritage. We feel that it is important to continue and maintain this work, so that the general public and future generations become aware of how things used to be in bygone days, and helped to shape the future .

We promote all aspects of the arts. We arrange lectures, study days and outings; pay fees and expenses of lecturers. We have set up online access to events. We hire premises for meetings and acquire equipment and software as needed. Arts activities sponsored: £500 each to St Luke's Hospice for Art Therapy, Uxendon Manor School for Mosaics Project, Headstone Manor Museum archiving/art workshops

Saltash Heritage collects, displays and makes available to the general public items relating to the history and heritage of Saltash and the surrounding area. It operates both a Museum (permanent and changing displays) and a Local History Centre with photographs and family history data.

Provide a recreational and functional facility for all the groups and organisations within the local area.

To promote the social, physical and intellectual welfare of its members.
