The provision of a modern, fully equipped and maintained, multi purpose community centre. Facilities include state of the art Cinema/Theatre, Meeting/Conference Rooms, Catering facilities, Art/Exhibition Gallery and leisure space. The Centre is currently run by more than one hundred volunteers with four full time and one part time employees.

BISI is dedicated to advancing research and public education about Iraq in the areas of the arts, humanities and social sciences. The charity's activities include: giving grants to support research and outreach projects; publishing the journal IRAQ and texts on Iraq's history and culture; arranging public lectures and study days; and a Visiting Iraqi Scholarship Programme.

The Restoration Trust initiates and runs projects that connect people who live with mental health issues with heritage, including archaeology, ancient landscapes, historic places and archives. Stimulating friendship, curiosity and imagination, these projects help people feel more human again. We call this culture therapy and want it to become everyday good practice in heritage and mental health

The restoration, reconstruction, preservation and maintenance of the Cromford Canal; its associated buildings, towing path, structures and craft and the conservation of its natural character as a navigable inland waterway system for the benefit of the public.

We run Peaslake village hall, a well-maintained facility with modern kitchen & toilets (inc. disabled), stage & dressing rooms. In a quiet Surrey village, the hall is used by village organisations (eg. Badminton club, Peaslake players, Community Fund) and is excellent for parties, pilates, wedding receptions, charity sales & similar events.

Restoration of the former Pleasley Colliery steam winding engines and ancillary equipment by voluntary group from the local and adjoining communities to form a museum including the social history of the area. A second group of volunteers are managing in conjunction with Derbyshire County Council the adjacent former colliery spoil heaps which is now a designated Country Park.

To promote, for the public benefit: the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment within the Moor Pool conservation area and also the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation through the use of community facilities as well as the advancement of education, including knowledge of the social, architectural history and heritage of the area.

The primary aim of the charity is to fulfil the role of a Christian Church in the Martock area and to provide help to others in promoting the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and overseas, and maintaining the upkeep and repair of the fabric of buildings, utilised for charitable purposes.

Cambourne Church is a worshipping community committed to serving the needs of its community and has been involved in community based projects and activities throughout its history. We are currently working in partnership with a wide range of organisations to meet local needs.

Weston Park was the first municipal park in Sheffield and is one of the most significant historic parks and is very popular with local residents and visitors to the city. Heritage Lottery has enabled the full restoration of the park to take place. There is an active friends of group who work closely with Parks and Countryside Officers to monitor and improve the site.

A resource centre for environmental and historical education and interpretation, especially in relation to Richmond Park in Surrey, with a particular focus on those with special needs,ensuring that facilities are accessible to all.

Museum dedicated to the life of Composer Gustav Holst (his birthplace) and an early Victorian household.

The preservation of architectural and constructional heritage buildings, and education by the exhibition of buildings, objects, books and documents.

The preservation of the Grade 2 listed Victorian pump house at Low Hall and its Marshall pumping engines and ancillary equipment; the creation and operation of a heritage museum on the site dedicated to the history of pumps and pumping, reciprocating steam engines, local transport, fire fighting and manufacturing in Walthamstow and the Lea Valley.

The Blackpool Museum Trust will support the Blackpool Museum Project (Showtown) to promote the education of the public by supporting the establishment and maintenance of the Museum. It will promote the awareness and appreciation of popular culture, including nationally important objects relating to Blackpool's heritage.

We run an independent local museum in Fleetwood, Lancashire. The museum will be a place of outstanding historical significance, to educate the young, remind the old and inspire future generations. It will also be integral to the heart of the community and offer a warm and friendly welcome where visitors can learn, engage and belong.
