Heritage Charities

Funding provided by the Heritage Fund and other organizations helped us to complete the restoration of the Orangery and the new building. The formal opening on 17 August 2019, was followed by a variety of events to meet our objectives. We provided activities for all ages and capabilities in art, music, drama, local handicrafts, and free open days for the public to share Ingestre's Heritage.

THE BRITISH GLASS FOUNDATION IS AN ENABLING BODY BRINGING TOGETHER ALL RELEVANT AND INDEPENDENT GLASS AND CULTURAL ORGANISATIONS AND PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMMON AIM TO PROTECT AND SAVE THE GLASS, ARCHIVE AND TECHNICAL COLLECTIONS AT BROADFIELD HOUSE GLASS MUSEUM AND TO ENSURE THEIR FUTURE DISPLAY TO THE PUBLIC, ACCESS FOR RESEARCH AND CONTINUED GROWTH.

CHEAD provides a voice for and on behalf of higher education art and design in the UK advancing knowledge and understanding in the sector and promoting the sector?s interests to others. We carry out research, brief members, facilitate networking opportunities and specialist internal networks supporting art and design research leaders, Subject Associations, and HE gallery leaders.

To advance education in the field of contemporary visual art by the establishment and maintenance of a gallery providing exhibitions of art, talks, workshops and events for the benefit of the public.

The Association's purpose is to encourage and assist the study of local history throughout Great Britain as an academic discipline and rewarding leisure pursuit for both individuals and groups. The Association also regularly organises visits to places of interest and co-sponsors local history conferences.

The charity maintains and manages its funds in order to to ensure that the collection in the Museum is maintained in immaculate condition and is accessible to all. The charity seeks to maintain the properties in their ownership in the best possible order.

The preservation, operation, restoration, maintenance and protection of such of the structures, buildings, plant, locomotives, rolling stock, railway track and equipment on or adjacent to or connected with the railway lines between Gobown and Llanymynech and beyond, and Llynclys Junction and Llanddu and beyond, as are of historic, cultural, architectural, constructional or scientific interest.

Educate the public on the mining heritage of Kent and in old and new forms of energy production. Establish and maintain a museum on the former colliery site at Betteshanger, Kent. Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or leisure with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Preservation of Barrow Hill Roundhouse and associated buildings and railway yard, operation of railway museum therein.

St James Parochial Church Council (PCC) cooperate with the Rector in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the church, pastoral, social, evangelistic and ecumenical. The PCC is also responsible for the maintenance of the church and the adjacent Ale House (medieval hall). Activities include worship, prayer, nurture and care for the churchyard and the environment.

The ONCA Trust fosters and inspires a greater understanding of ecology through art, education and creative practice. We raise awareness of environmental and social change through the running of a non-profit art gallery, studio and workspace, and through arts-based educational outreach. We organise exhibitions, workshops, events and projects, themed around key ecological issues.

The object of the CSJ is to advance the education of the public in and to promote the pilgrimage to Saint James of Compostela in the Spanish region of Galicia and the related history, art, architecture and music, including promoting research, presenting educational programmes, identifying and preserving monuments, providing information on routes, establishing paths, maintaining hostels etc.

Creative workshops, training and resources for care sector. Our projects focus on support for care staff working with Adults with learning disabilities in care settings and on supporting those working with people living with dementia.We also work with galleries providing early development workshop sessions for babies and toddlers and their grownups

The Charity promotes research, exhibitions, lectures, seminars, publication and events around the arts of Iran from ancient to the contemporary. This includes, but not limited to, work with The Sarikhani Collection, which comprises of arts of Iran from pre-history until the 18th century

We are a Polish Saturday school providing lessons in Polish language, literature, culture, history and geography of Poland to school aged children and preparing them for GCSE exams in Polish. Lessons are taught 32 Saturdays per year, 3.5 hours per Saturday.
