The society is instituted for the historical and bibliographical study of the growth of all branches of natural history in all periods and cultures.

Raise funds to support Brampton Hospital and its patients. Support patients who require nursing/care in the community. Support Organisations with a health interest in the community.

The principle objective of the charity is to defray the cost of upkeep and maintenance of the church of St Martin in the Cornmarket, Worcester

Examining planning applications and writing submissions to them.Taking part in consultations on proposed developments in Spalding.Arranging visits to new/important/historical buildings. e.g. Spalding Power StationOrganising talks/discussions on topical events.e.g. recent archaeological excavations

Maintains the 16th Century school building left to the village by Mrs Jane Leeson's will of 1642.Now used as the village hall.

The purpose of the charity is the advancement of religion and the preservation of the architectural heritage of the village of Charing by making grants or loans to facilitate the repair and maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul Charing, Kent

Social Aid supports charitable activities carried out in connexion with the Church of England in the Diocese of Hereford, particularly: the promotion of temperance and higher standards of moral life in individuals, family and community; the restoration of the intemperate or delinquent and those addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling or otherwise needing help; the relief of the consequent distress.

Provision of meeting place for benefit of community

The Executive Committee continues to promote the study of family history through various media. This includes monthly meetings at 2 locations and also online, our quarterly journal, attendance at fairs and through the Society website. We also transcribe original documents and record Memorial Inscriptions.

Vilage Hall - Keep fit, Yoga, Martial Arts, Sequence Dancing, Functions

Scout activities including camping, hiking, swimming and weekly meetings doing art & craft, sport, cooking, knots etc. Badge work includes care for animals, first aid, music, hobbies, collecting, local history and religion. Local and London visits to places of interest and worship.

The preservation repair maintenance improvement upkeep beautification and restoration of the ancient church of Saint Mary Magdalen in the City of Oxford

To maintain the town of Leamington Spa as a pleasant place to work and live in. We perform services including looking after the gardens at Leamington Station and include the Friends of the Pump Room Gardens. We have raised money for the restoration of the eight Victorian cast-iron arches around this garden. The Friends of Christchurch Gardens are now also part of our Society

Provides an all-purpose village hall for the community.

The management of the war memorial institute building, letting for income and management of village hall and leisure facilities.

The aim of the Odinist Fellowship shall be to practise, promote and propagate Odinism. By Odinism is meant the original, indigenous form of heathen, polytheistic religion and spiritual beliefs, practised by the ancestors of the English and related northern European peoples, as embodied in the Eddas and as they have found expression in the wisdom and in the historical experience of those peoples.

The Northern Mine Research Society is dedicated to the preservation and recording of mining history. As such the society makes grants to individuals and organisations in furtherance of these aims, as well as sponsoring or undertaking research itself. Research is published in the British Mining series of journals.

Supporting work on Airship Heritage Trust Collection at Fleet Air Arm Museum. Gathering further information from original sources on R100 and R101 and securing its publication by sponsoring lectures and other means.

Visits to places of interest and exhibitions. Guest speakers on antiques, fashion, legal matters, history, health and beauty. Craft activities such as card and patchwork etc. Social activities such as coffee mornings, garden parties and meals out. Interaction with other WI groups. Community involvement.

To promote and complete the Victoria County History of Durham and to assist and support the editor/team leader and the assistant editor/ team researcher to this end; to raise public awareness of local and regional history; to complete a history of Teesdale now in progress and to secure backing and finance for new areas of study in the future.

Provision of a village hall for use by the village organisations and residents.
