(a) Provision of grants to those people of Hastings who wish to emigrate to Commonwealth countries (the Emigration Fund)(b) Provision of grants for the purchase of artefacts for the Hastings Museum (the Museum Fund)

The Haywood Society arranges monthly talks for members with two visits a year to places of local interest. It supports suitable local activities with start up grants. It has published three local history book, no4 in 2014. It tries to study all local planning applications. It assisted in discussions of local interest and the production of "The Village Building Guidelines".

The objectives of the charity are to acquire, repair, restore and renovate mechanical vehicles of historic interest and to advance the education of the public in the history of mechanical transport and in historic vehicles of all kinds.

To advance the education of the public regarding the history of the Whitworth Valley and in particular by the establishment and maintenance of a Public Museum

Maintaining and utilising the Sapperton Village Hall for the benefit of the community. (Grade II Listed building)

Provides for the maintenance and repair of the fabric and expense of the Parish Church of St Lawrence and the maintenance of the services of the said church and the furniture thereof. Provides grants towards the education of young people under the age of 25 years who are bona fida resident in the Ancient Ecclesiastical Parish of Mickleton

The Society carries out research into the local history of Kidlington the adjoining area. It publishes its findings as books and pamphlets.In its educational role the Society holds monthly meetings with lectures on local historical subjects.

Promotion & advancement of public education in & the study & research of the local heritage of Whitwick & district.

Holds regular lectures in natural history subjects; practical conservation work parties; monitors and records local wildlife; monitors potential effect of local planning applications on wildlife; supports the work of Essex Wildlife Trust.

The Society runs a programme of talks, walks and other events relating to local history in general and to the history of Long Buckby in particular. It also carries out research on aspects of village history. The third area of activity is the collection of photographs, documents and artefacts relating to the village past and present and to this end it maintains a small museum for its collection.

Gives grants to the parish church for its maintenance and upkeep, providing the people of Carbrooke with a venue for a place of worship, baptisms, marriages, funerals and other religious and secular events.Gives grants to local organisations for the relief of poverty in the area.

Through lectures, study visits, publications, excavations and fieldwork to educate and promote a knowledge of and interest in archaeology, both generally and with particular reference to Colchester and district

Care & making available for access where appropriate (including specialist research & loans) of the Guermonprez Collection within the overall Portsmouth Museums Service. The Collection comprises natural history material including preserved mammals,birds,reptiles,fish,insects,shells,botanical & geological artefacts,scientific watercolours,books, & photos of social history topics.

The objects of the charity are to stimulate civic pride in the beauty, history and character of Scarborough and its surroundings and to take an active interest in maintaining those features on which the character of the town depends. During the year the society's activities included commenting on planning applications, participating in heritage open days, raising funds and organising town walks.

Acquiring by gift, purchase or otherwise, and present to the Bodleian Library rare printed books and manuscripts as well as other items of literary, musical, historical or artistic interest, assisting the library in the purchase of any such material and its preservation; promoting and supporting the library in its aim to fulfil the needs of the University of Oxford.

Southfield WI is outward looking, it has monthly meetings with speakers, reading group, visits to theatre, and historical places. It supports G.F.W.I. events, including music, drama, crafts, and environmental issues. Southfield gives a bursary for educational courses, welcomes visitors, and gives social companionship for its members. Many members volunteer for local causes.

Recording and preserving the oral history of the Colchester area

Warboys WI have provided 11 meetings for members. Talks have been on Travel, Food security, Culture & Sport history, Gardening, History and Environmental issues. We continue to hold Craft meetings, Walks and games afternoons. Members have also taken part in the County events throughout this year.

Our aim is to provide a centre fit for use by the many and varied organisations, mainly within the parish, who use the hall. It is used as an outreach post office twice a week and is regularly used by a coffee club, garden club,parish council, polling station and W. I.

Upkeep & repair of one private house in return for Sexton's duties at Lambourn Parish Church or if there be no sexton to make grants from funds and rents,( after provisions for repairs and maintenance of the property and any other liabilities) to Lambourn PCC for activities normally undertaken by a sexton as set out in the revision to the trust deed January 2022

The purpose of the charity is to own, enhance, conserve and display a collection of artefacts and archive material relevant to the Essex Regiment and its successors in order that current and future generations may fully appreciate the service given by the Regiment and the sacrifices made by its members.

Hold monthly meetings addressed by speakers on wide variety of historical subjects. Publish annual journal 'Cake and Cock Horse' containing articles of local historical interest. Publish occasional research volumes on local historical subjects. Arrange summer outings to places of local historical interest.
