SOPA provides a 32 bed outdoor activity centre on the outskirts of Oldham, in greenfield Saddleworth.

Our mission is to allow our young members explore the wide range of activities that are available to them; From a simple hiking through to a sport or camping and associated scouting activities.

Sea Cadets is voluntary uniformed youth organisation which offers a range of largely free activities from sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT communications, music and cookery. We aim to encourage good citizenship and provide worthwhile qualifications, experience and adventure for young people. Cadets have the opportunity to learn life skills whilst having fun and making friends.

The Committee exists to oversee water activity training for members of the Scout and Guide Associations in Kent, East Sussex and south-east London. We run sailing, canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing courses during the summer months at Bewl Reservoir. We also run a coastal sailing course at Whitstable and a white water kayaking course in Wales each year.

Scout District in Cardiff West Offering opportunities for scouting in the area.Activities include, Camping, Abseiling, Archery, and weekly meetings at various headquarters.

Provides self-catering accommodation for groups, in the Lake District. This is primarily for young people from the Bury area. Bookings are also taken for other groups of adults and young people from other areas.

Activities provided for young people including camping, survival skills, craft activities, shared events with other groups, cooking, first aid and many other activities.

As part of The Scout Association we provide weekly activities for young people aged between 6 and 14 years of age, within the North London area. This includes earning Scout badges and partcipating in other schemes such as The DofE and Jack Petchey awards. We provide weekend and week long camping trips that teach the young people valuable life skills whilst having fun with friends.

We provide accommodation for young people who are members of the Guide Association to hold camps, trainings and outdoor activities. Our members come from all over SE England.

We undertake "Challenges" in which the challengers are sponsored to help raise funds towards those who are touched with cancer. The funds are used towards varying projects where funding is not normally available via the NHS or other public bodies."Challenges" have included: walking, cycling, running, canoeing and have taken us from Cornwall to Ben Nevis to France/Belgium.

To help with the development of young people and encourage them to become confident and rounded individuals.To teach them values and encourage them to enjoy outdoor activities.

The provision of indoor and outdoor activities for young people aged 6-18 years, which will aid healthy development of both minds and bodies. Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday evenings, during school term times, for Beavers (6-8 years) and Cubs (9-10.5 years). Weekly meetings are held on Friday evenings, during school term times, for Scouts (10.5 - 14years) and Explorers (14-18years).

The Village Hall and adjoining land provide a centre for all local residents to pursue educational, recreational and social interests and a range of sporting and outdoor activities.

We are members of the Scouts Association and provide organised activities for young people. Our Beaver section covers 6-8yrs, Cubs 8-10yrs and Scouts 10-14yrs. Scouts are doers and give-it-a-goers. We go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

Activities are carried out in accordance with THe Scout Association Policy Organisation and Rules. These include camping, expedtions, canoeing, sports, social activities, music, human relationships and many more.All activities are regulated to siut the different age ranges and acheivemnts are gained through a series of award schemes
