We provide housing with support and care, welfare benefits advice, training packages for businesses and Mental Health First Aid courses, community groups and social enterprises such as Greenlinks gardening group, Food for Thought Open Opportunities and Friends in Need.

Relief of poverty of entertainers, and people associated with the entertainment profession,their surviving partners, spouses and dependants including:to pay pensions or to award grants and loans to alleviate hardship;to contribute partly or pay all funeral expenses;to operate and maintain a nursing and care home and to contribute partly or pay the fees associated with being a resident in the Home.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of football and other sports capable of improving health.To provide facilities for sport of such persons who have need by reason of their age, infirmity or disablement, social and economic, in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The objects of the charity are to advance education, particularly among young persons, and to relieve the need of unemployed persons by the provision of vocational and academic training connected with the horse racing, equestrian, agricultural, horticultural and their allied areas. The charity has two specific mission statements in its Corporate Plan.

Awards grants upon application to organisations in the UK and Japan for UK-Japan related projects in the following fields:- youth & education, science, technology & environment, medicine & health, arts & culture, sport, the humanities, Japanese language and Japanese studies. Awards will only be made to individuals where they can demonstrate their planned activity has an organisation's backing.
