To promote the benifit of the inhabitants of Warstock, Maypole, Yardley Wood and Highters Heath areas, by working with local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants to advance education and to provide facilities for social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation at the Warstock Community Centre.

We are a voluntary Community Association. We maintain premises for social and community activities for all ages eg Social Events, Quizzes, Illustrated Talks, Film shows, Family workshops, Coffee Mornings, Gardening club, Summer Fun Days. We also welcome a local Special Needs School to use the open space and sports courts, and we support local charities.

PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL AND PLAYING FIELD FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF PLYMTREE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURETIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

All activities associated with parish halls-hiring hall to local organisations eg, Tuesday club, gardening club, hobbies group, also fund raising events.

Local Scout Group that provides education and training for young people through sporting and recreational activities.

To enhance the social cohesion and life of the village by: Making available facilities for social, educational and recreational events, for the use of the village members, clubs, societies and school.Providing a programme of artistic and social events to bring together and entertain the members of the village.Funding the above from the rental and event income of the hall.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for the Parish of Milverton, including lettings management, fund-raising and seeking grant funding for capital expenditure for building improvements. We actively encourage new activities that might appeal to residents, e.g. computer, keep-fit, literature and theatrical events, as well as promoting the village hall as a centre for community activities.

We are a Sports and Community Centre for the Leven Valley District of Haverthwaite and surrounding villages. Activities include, Athletics, Cricket, Youth Club events and various other community activities.

The Charity provides play equipment and sports facilities for the residents of Carperby and the surrounding villages

Established in 1906 to ensure the continued provision of swimming facilities.

The Charity provides facilities and personnel to direct and assist children in Indoor/Outdoor activities in accordance with guidelines and regulations laid down by the Scout Association and County and/or District Teams. Currently, the Group operates three Sections - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts - and these Sections are open to Boys and Girls of appropriate ages defined by the Scout Association
