We provide a village hall and recreation ground for the local community.

The Sea Cadets has been in the Stoke on Trent area since 1938 providing activities for young people from 9-18 years old. As a micro-charity we provide these young people with activities and qualifications in Kayaking, Canoeing, Power boating, Sailing, First Aid, Cook Steward, Seamanship, Shooting, Engineering, Field Craft, Duke of Edinburgh. Recognised qualifications can by gained i.e. BTech's

Art classes, Quiz nights, amateur comedy/musical shows. Summer & Christmas fayres, monthly Farmer's market, afternoon teas, Children's Play and Stay and monthly social 'pub' evening.

Provision of website for members use, outdoor activities and individual supported challenges and educational projects. Social events for the group. provision of grants for individual use in IT communications, education and personal development. Raising public awareness of deafness in children and public awareness through newsletter and public signing events.

Maintenance and management of the Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Great Holland for meetings, lectures. classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time activities.

Educating young people in Agriculture, Home Crafts, Country Life and related subjects. Provide and promote facilities for recreation which will improve their condition of life and assist in their development, self-reliance and individual responsibility so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of the Community. The Charity provides recreational and social facilities for the local community, covering age groups from toddlers to senior citizens.The Centre is currently used mainly in the evenings, by 8 different user groups, and is available for meetings, private party hire and functions. The adjacent field is used at weekends by a local Junior Football Team.

SPORTS AND OPEN SPACE

The Trust organises fund-raising projects such as raffles, social events, 200 Club and sponsored walks.Money raised is invested in specialist charity funds.Funds are used to help people in the agricultural and horticultural media in financial difficulties through illness or job loss and those needing training for new skills.

The charity is a sea scout group that includes beavers and cubs. Activities are typical of any scout group, including swimming, sailing, canoeing, and camping.

Provision of a village hall for the use of the residents of Broadwell, Donnington and the neighbourhood for meetings, lectures, classes, and for other forms of recreation.

We have many activities which include entertainment of different types, also have healing reflexology, massage, treatment to nails both hand & feet. We have outings where we use our minibus. We run these at lots of different dates.

1st Falfield Scout Group is a Community based group and offering over 200 activities, from abseiling and archery to drama, street sports and water zorbing, for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years of age.The Scout Group is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of their gender, race, religion or belief, ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy.

Provides a centre for the community to meet, partake in social and sporting activities and when possible learn new skills.

Thundridge Village Hall provides accommodation for meetings of local societies, indoor sports, dance classes, band practice, bazaars, children's parties and jumble sales. There are kitchen facilities for food preparation & cooking. There is seating for up to 120 people. The hall is used by the local primary school for dining & physical recreation. The stage is used for school plays.

The Village Hall has a number of regular events inc... Upholstery, Art, Table Tennis, Yoga.It is available for local residents to hire for private functions.It is also the home of the South Kilworth Bowls Club.The Village Hall has a monthly community cafe. The Village Hall committee hold a number of fund raising events throughout the year.

Uniformed organisation providing educational and recreational activities for young people

To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.To provide training which will be useful in Service and civilian life.To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

Regular users of village hall include Pilates, Mother & Toddlers, Art Class.Hall available for hire for private parties, dances, meetings etc. Facilities include car park, disabled access, kitchen, large main hall (divisible), small upper room.
