Development of a community hub to host community activities including sport, leisure events, clubs and community events and meeting, external room hire with kitchen facilities tables chairs

Scorton Village Hall is used by the people of Scorton in Lancashire for community activities such as youth club, toddler group, WI, keep fit, dancing classes, parish council, church groups and by the local school. It is also hired out for parties, fundraising, events and fairs.

Community based activities. e.g Bistro Nights, Dances, Produce Market, Badminton & Table Tennis, Jumble Sales.Hire of rooms for, Committee meetings, private functions e.g weddings, parties, used by local school for concerts, soft play area & local Post Office also local interest clubs.Hired for VIA entertainers.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE YOUTH OF THE THREE CROSSES AND DISTRICT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS

HVA's purpose is to improve the life of its inhabitants. In furtherance of this, events are held including the village fete; the village dance; the village pantomime; a quiz evening and a childrens Christmas party. It publishes an excellent quarterly magazine. The association may make grants for educational and sporting endeavours from a trust established for the benefit of young people.

The Memorial Hall provides an inexpensive venue for local activities, especially for minor sports and other activities for elderly people. It is used by many local clubs and societies.

Premises used for physical and mental recreation and social and moral intellectual development through the medium of meetings, lectures, classes, concerts and dances, whist drives and other beneficial entertainments

Our charity is involved in various fundraising activities such as quizzes, activity days, sales and an annual fete. The sole purpose is to provide extra support for the children of Huntley C of E Primary School; equipment, educational outings and entertainment.

A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Little Waltham and the neighbourhood thereof without distinction of political, religious, of other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Community Centre for the benefit of the residents of the Llanrug area especially for the provision of meetings, lectures, classes and other recreational and entertainment activities with the intention of improving the quality of life of the residents of the area.

Provision and maintenance of a building in support of general charitable purposes including education/training, arts/culture, sport/recreation, environment/conservation/heritage: promotion of these activities within the parish.

To provide premises and facilities for community clubs, groups and the general public to use for education, recreation and leisure purposes.

We provide social activities for all ages. The Hall is for hire for local events. The Hall has a number of regular hirers that offer children's activities, sporting activities and auctions. It is also used for Parish Council Meetings and elections. The Hall is the only amenity in the village.

The club is held on alternate weeks. It gives members an opportunity to play games and mix with others. The group takes part in a range of activities from bingo to arts & crafts. We have a snooker table, football table and music centre. So sometimes members boogie or just chat and join in the other activities. Drinks & snacks are provided. Occasionally outings are made, to parks, bowling, seaside

The village hall provides a refurbished premise for local community use and hire. Our local organisations which includes the WI, short mat bowling, keep fit,book club , yoga, quilters,dowsing group and reading group, amateur dramatics and village lunches etc meet regularly on a weekly or monthly basis. Occasionally parties and funeral/ anniversary teas are catered for.

To provide funds for charitable purposes with preference being given to:- 1. The raising of artistic taste of the public, whether in relation to music, drama, opera, painting, sculpture or other fine arts; 2. The promotion of education in the fine arts, academic education or Christian religion; 3. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation.

Village Hall providing community access to a range of activities, including WI, childrens' events, social occasions, sports clubs, local college classes, fund raising venue for other institutions within the community, etc.

Presentation of musical and dramatic entertainment to the general public.

Provide a building for the residents of the area to join in various activities on a regular basis. The classes held include keep fit, fitness league, carpet bowls, bingo, fun nights, coach trips, yoga pilates

We are a Scout Group providing fun/sporting activities for children from 6 to 14. Three main groups meet weekly over 3 terms. Beaver group, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. We operate according the Scout Association's rules.

The Housing, Care and maintenance of the Wolseley collection. The provision and arrangement in the wolseley room, or elsewhere of lectures, talks etc on subjects of argiculture and horticulture, garden design, history of places and lands in sussex and the history of old agricultural customs. Purchase of books, letters, maps etc and other objects of interest to be added to the wolseley collection.

Provide and ensure safety within the Community Village Hall. Endeavour to retain a standard worthy of a Village Hall within the Cotswolds in a satisfactory manner for all hirers/users. Those hiring the hall are from all groups of people including children and those with disabilities, for both teaching and recreation.
