Leisure Charities

Maintain, provide and improve the facility of our Village Hall. Hold certain events, both recreational and fundraising occasions for local people of all ages within our rural Village.

To manage local sports/playing fields and to provide social and sports facilities on land owned or leased by the charity. To find additional facilities for sport in the town of Nailsea. To apply for grants and fund raise to support these aims

Upkeep and management of Kington Recreation Ground on behalf of beneficiaries and users.

Dog Training, Quizzes, Flower Shows, Dinner and Dances, Country and Western Meetings, Indoor Bowling,Training and Winter and Summer Leagues. Childrens Parties and Pantomimes, Church and Chapel Functions. Keep fit classes, Male and Female.

To provide a recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Stourton and Cherington

Village activities including talks, dinners, films, games and sports

Community village hall for community activities and for hire. Current activities in the hall include indoor bowls, snooker, kung fo, keep fit. Hall hired for village activities, weddings and parties.

HIRE TO USER GROUPS, INCLUDING DANCE SCHOOL, DRAMA GROUP, SCOUTS, CUBS & BEAVERSBUSY BEES, PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY,YOGA CLASSES, FILM SHOWS, PARTIES, CHURCH FUNCTIONS, AND GENERAL HIRE FOR FAMILY CELEBRATIONS, INCLUDING FUND RAISING EVENTS, FOR THE HALL & LOCAL COMMUNITY

Supply facilities for the art group, indoor bowls, dancing, keep fit, sewing, drama, sunday school, conferences and social gatherings.

To provide educational assistance to pupils at Rugby School and other schools in Rugby. To respond to requests for funding from groups and individuals requiring financial assistance in the Rugby Area.

To provide a weekly talking newspaper, containing local news and other useful information including local and national government bulletins on social matters; community safety; environment; transport and leisure. The newspaper is distributed on USB memory sticks and uploaded onto the BWBF streamed service for accessing through the Talking Newspaper app and on smart speakers such as Alexa.

Management of playing field and play equipment

WE HOLD SOCIAL,SPORTING AND OTHER FUNCTIONS TO RAISE MONEY TO HELP THE PUPILS AT SACRED HEART PRIMARY SCHOOL IN TEDDINGTON. WE PROVIDE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT TO BENEFIT THE PUPILS AND STAFF AND TO SUPPORT THE PUPILS' EDUCATION.

Provision of accomodation and related facillities for the purpose of carrying out all aspects of the sport of mountaineering.

Physical and mental training, recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations, meetings and such activities as may be found expedient for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Thriplow in Cambridgeshire and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex, politics or religion.

Charity gives grants to organisations for the benefit of young persons resident in the city of Nottingham for sporting and recreational purposes.

Our aim is to enhance the quality of life for Broadwoodkelly residents and surrounding neighbourhoods by encouraging social interaction and promoting better physical/mental health and well-being through educational, recreational and leisure activities to reduce rural social isolation and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis for all, especially those with limited income and of pensionable age.

Provide social meeting place for residents in and around Knowle area i.e. social activities ( coffee mornings, youth group, Various Keep Fit Groups (provision of rooms), dog training, neighbourhood P.A.C.T meetings, social events). Rooms made available for hire.
