Management and Support of Enstone Playing Field

Support and provision of services to young people 11-18 years in the Ross-on-Wye district; eg drop-in sessions, professional training workshops in areas of interest to young people and informal sports sessions. Beneficiaries include deprived and harder-to-reach young individuals. Main location is 'The Venue' (formerly Y-zone) in Ross-on-Wye. The charity is also known as The Basement Trust Limited.

Recreation ground

AS PART OF THE SCOUTING ASSOCIATION, we provide a building for use and recreation of the children and youth of Trevor and suurrounding area, so they can participate in all types of scouting related activities and training.

Peterborough Sea Cadets offers 10- 18yr olds a wide range of activities loosly based on Royal Navy traditions. These include rowing, visits to warships, training courses at Royal Navy training establishments such as HMS Raleigh, on board training in seamanship, navigation, first aid, team building exercises, D of E etc. Peterborough Unit also provides the Mayors Guard at civil occasions.

To promote the study of Astronomy, in particular Double Stars and Deep Sky Objects.To publish members obervations and articles in our publications.

We hold adventurous activities for children of all ages. We have Troops for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We offer exciting challenges to the young people, including learning new skills, linking with other groups, camping and adventure breaks.

The management committee has the responsibility for the management of the hall for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Woodhurst (without distinction of political, religious or other opinions) including for the use of meetings, lectures, classes, recreation and leisure, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the parish.

Bakewell Carnival every year starts with the day of dance, then a fell race, a pet competition, duck race, quiz night, raft race, Jack Russel racing, tug of war, childrens sports and last of all carnival day with a street procession on collection day.

PROVISION OF SPORTS AND RECREATION FACILITIES

The object of the charity is the provisioning maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of South Huish and of Inner Hope in the Parish of Malborough and the immediate vicinity, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreational and leisure-time occupation.

Provide facilities for leisure time recreation and education of the inhabitants of Ebchester

Provides premises for community use, outdoor safe play area for small children. Recreation field for sports use, football and an enclosed multi use sports area.

TO MAINTAIN A STRONG COMMUNITY SPIRIT, BY THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ,SPORTING AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL RESIDENTS

Established to perpetuate the memory of the Regiment known as Hodson's Horse and the British officers who served in it. Annual grants are given to: King Edward VII Hospital (' Sister Agnes'), Scholarships for the education of children of soldiers in India; provision of medals and trophies for sports events run by the Royal Armoured Corps and a HH Merit award for overseas cadets at RMAS Sandhurst.

To provide grants to Willingham Primary School and local secondary and post secondary educational institutions such as Cottenham Village College to support their educational activities.To provide grants to youth groups in Willingham to support educational and sports activities.To provide grants to individual young people in Willingham to help them in further education and job training.

Provide/maintain Hall for use by local groups/charities eg. Boxercise Group, Ballroom Dancing, Pilates, Baby & Toddler Group, private parties and act as local Polling Station.

Sailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Drill, Marching Band, Duke of Edinburgh Award

Charity set up to provide disabled members of the community with assess to sporting and networking activities.
