Village hall offering a range of events and activities to meet the needs of the local community, including quizes, race night, mums & tots, tabel tennis, cubs and beavers as well as good value hire to private non profit making organisations.

To raise funds for school sports, school refurbishments, educational equipment and school activities. All pupils benefit from the income which is derived mainly from social events organised by parents, pupils and staff.

The Trust exists to promote and help finance sporting activities on land owned by the Trust in the Dinting area of Glossop, Derbyshire

Hold fortnightly meetings for recreation and socialisation. Organise coach outings. Organise an annual holiday.

Youth training, Seamanship, Good citizenship, Boating, Navigation, Communications, Drill, Camping and various sports.

The charity provide funds for current pupils so they can have swimming tuition.Starter and leaver bibles are provided for the pupils.Educational grants to former students to help them with further studies.If students are unable to afford residential trips then the trustees will aid with this.

The hall is busy each weekday and most evenings with many and varied activities which are well publicised on noticeboards within the village.These include games afternoon inc indoor bowls,bingo,art classes including one for portraiture,Quilting,patchwork,beading and embroidery,coffee mornings. and scouts.Weekends are usually let for private functions and/or concerts

PROVISION OF OPEN SPACE, FOOTBALL PITCH AND CHILDRENS PLAY AREA.

The purpose of the organisation is the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Wrabness and neigbouring villages for meetings, education, recreation, leisure and any other uses which will benefit the local people.

The Charity which is a Village Hall exists as a facility/meeting place for all activities currently undertaken by people in the community. The usage of the Village Hall is currently taken up with Billiards/Snooker Club, Badminton Club, Dog Training Classes, Carpet Bowls for Over Fifties, rehearsal facility for Music Groups, venue for Annual Flower Show and generally as a place for Social Events.

Bingo once a week. W.I. meetings. Whist drives. School uses hall for sports lessons. Social events, plays, etc.

Provides weekly companionship and activities for elderly residents of Lechlade and associated villages close by. Lunch is provided and occasional trips out. Provision is made for the infirm and disabled. Live entertainment is frequently arranged.

To provide a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Mepal and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The hall committee organises the everyday running of the hall, fundraising events for its upkeep, and annual community events .The hall, serves the community as the only meeting place in the village, and is used by groups of all ages. Hall user groups: table tennis,indoor bowls,boccia,photography,yoga/pilates,tai chi,art,WI,brownies/rainbows,soup lunch,fundraising events, private hire, polling.

We set out to provide education/training, sport/recreation to children/young people in a fun and disciplined manner.

We hold social events & leisure trips on a regular basis.

We are a Sea Cadet unit serving Chichester and surrounding areas and a member of the Nation wide Sea Cadet Corps. We have volunteer uniformed and civilian male and female staff who train male and female Sea Cadets aged between 10 and 18 in the traditions and skills of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and the sea, including character and leadership training, canoeing, sailing and handling motor boats.

To advance the education of the pupils of Oakridge Parochial School by providing/assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities to augment Local Education Authority provision.
