The Charity maintains and lets the property known as Bow Village Hall, it is used on a regular basis by various organisations including Pre-School Playgroup, Parochial Church Council, Scouts, Short Mat Bowling, Local History Society, Bow Water Works Committee, Parish Council and various health & fitness classes.The building is also let to individuals for private functions & fund raising events.

We specifically offer support to community people in organising outdoor community events like recreational activities, education and training, creating necessary awareness and campaign on healthy living, faith/religious needs, providing food support, counselling, advice and advocacy , pastoral care, youth empowerment, support and IT and administrative support to members of the community 000

THE ORGANISATION PROVIDES ACCOMMODATION FOR 4 SPORTING ACTIVITIES WHO ARE THEMSELVES EITHER A CHARITABLE ORGANISATION OR NOT FOR PROFIT COMMUNITY AMATEUR SPORTS CLUB. THE RENTS ARE SET AT A LEVEL WHICH ENSURES THE CONTINUANCE OF THE VARIOUS SPORTING ACTIVITIES AND PROMOTING THE EFFICIENCY OF OTHER CHARITABLE AND NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATIONS WITHIN THE CENTRE FOR THE ULTIMATE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

Provide a nutritious lunch four days a week and offer other such support to the members of the local retired community. Provide transport where required.Services provided include hairdressing, chiropody, fitness and seated yoga sessions as well as health initiatives such as annual influenza vaccinations. Visiting theatre companies and entertainers areoften additions to the schedule.

The charity has been established to provide for the maintenance of a Welfare Institute and sporting facility for recreation and leisure time occupation. The charity assists in maintaining subsidiary organisation for carry out the objects of the charity. Both the Institute premises and the sports facility are available for hire in accordance with the standard hiring agreement.

Community activities such as Toddler Groups,a Youth club, exercise classes etc are held in the centre.A Community Pantry, warm space and chatty cafe is run weekly and a Nursery annexe for 2 year olds is housed in one of the small halls.The centre is well used for parties, community events and training purposes. Conferences have also been held in the main hall.

Maintenance and up-keep of Kirdford Recreation Ground, pavilion and tennis court.

Parkfields Community Centre manages a building and surrounding grounds, which are owned by the Presbyterian Church of Wales. It serves the community by letting out rooms at affordable rates for activity, learning, entertainment and other services. In addition it runs projects for children and young people and a Food Hub that includes a Community Fridge.

Provision of health and recreational activities through the medium of sport for the inhabitants of Haverigg and the surrounding district

The SGBA promotes community participation in healthy recreation in the area of the estuary of the River Dart, in particular by the provision of facilities, boats and instruction in the sports of sailing, kayaking, canoeing and rowing.

The object of the fund is to advance the education of the students of the school by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the local education authority.

To provide out of school child care for primary school age children age 4-11 years within Welsh medium. Daily care, recreation, education. To advance the education and training of the person in provision of same. Clwb Llawen y Llys is open to all members of the public to provide out of school childcare, However a primary objective is to provide this within the Welsh medium.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

The foundation applies income and capital in provision of grants to charitable organisations for the purposes of education, and housing and training for those with learning difficulties, the advancement of knowledge of the history and techniques of interior decoration, fabric design, other decorative materials and landscape gardening, including with reference to the work of Oliver Ford.

To provide an outdoor grass area for outdoor activities, a young childrens play area and a purpose built building for all indoor activities for parishioners and the general public visiting Hickling.

We help women from ethnic minorities, particularly those who speak English as a second language. We provide community, support and opportunities through:1) English teaching: free, women-only classes with creche.2) Well-being activities: drama, Zumba, craft, gardening, parties.3) Resources: clothing, baby, kitchen items etc, also food delivery.4) A wide range of one-to-one support.

Educating the public in the performing arts by performing two musicals and a cabaret style entertainment every year.

HOPS supports people to deal with stress, reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing. Offering holistic therapies and therapeutic activities we support unpaid carers, older people, individuals with chronic health conditions and those living through difficult circumstances.Massage, Reiki and Reflexology therapies are complemented by group activity sessions (yoga, meditation, crafts, singing).

The charity's objects are specifically restricted to advance the amateur sport of association football, to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing access to facilities for playing association football and to advance the education of children and young people whether or not undergoing formal education.

Leisure time and recreational activities for older people no longer in full-time gainful employment.

We provide education, training, sporting and recreational facilities to club members, young people, scout groups and other voluntary bodies in the safe use of air weapons and firearms for target shooting. Any member of the public who is not prohibited from holding a firearms certificate may apply for membership.

TO ADVANCE PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR THE PUPILS OF BISHOP'S STORTFORD HIGH SCHOOL BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PLAYING SPORT
