Leisure Charities

This is a village hall for the whole community for Landrake and surrounding areas. The activities are as follows- Badminton, Short mat bowls, Dog Classes, Bingo, Childrens Parties, Tabletop sales etc. The hall is hired out to the community.

The principal activity of the company in the year under review continued to be the holding of property and investments for the purpose of supporting institutions or objects of public benefit to the inhabitants of the town and neighbourhood of Newport, Shropshire, having regard to promoting the healthy and beneficial occupation of the time of the said inhabitants for leisure and recreation

We have over 100 members who have a broad range of both physical and learning disabilities. We hold weekly football training which are accessible to anyone age 6 and over with a disability. We participate in competitive football matches and tournaments in disability football leagues. In addition to football sessions we offer social events and activities to our members.

The charity?s objects are specifically restricted to the following: (1) to organize or provide or assist in the organisation or provision of facilities for community participation in the healthy recreation of playing sport;(2) to further such other charitable purposes as are charitable under the Laws of England and Wales as the directors may from time to time decide.

Protect, display and promote, the local Sporting History of Wimbledon and its immediate neighbours, based primarily, in and around Wimbledon. Primarily for historical and educational purposes. We will rely on volunteers and raise funds primarily via donations and grants, with a small element from the sale of products and memorabillia.

Advancement for the public benefit of education and training through knowledge and understanding about the history, heritage, skills and safe conduct of climbing, hill walking and mountaineering and the environments in which these activities take place.

Provision of grants to recognised organisations - no grants to individuals - in the supported geographical areas.The Charity provides assistance to young people to encourage training, education, and the improvement of their recreation activities. It also supports the elderly and disabled with community support.Priority is given to supporting local organisations.

To provide a village hall, playing fields and facilities for physical recreation and mental, physical and moral development for the use of the residents of Manuden and its surrounding area.

The provision and maintenance of the facilities for the use of the inhabitants of the village of Whitminster and its surrounds for recreation and other leisure time occupations in the interest of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said persons

The Charity provides educational , recreational and social activities in the Ferndown area of Dorset for those no longer in full-time employment. Currently there about 90 groups. Most activities are held from mid-September until the end of May. The subscription is £40 for our accounting year. We have approximately 560 members.

Provides facilities for the sport of sailing and other water sports which are capable of improving physical health and fitness.

To provide facilities for recreation & leisure time activities for the benefit of the residents of Adlington & District.

To promote the education to the public for Chinese language, cultures, and traditions.. To provide recreational and educational facilities to the public. The school had a total of 27 classes of Chinese language courses (2 classes in Cantonese and 25 classes in Mandarin) and total of 420 students in the year term 2018 to 2019. There were also 1 dancing class for our students.

Amateur Boxing and sporting activities

The conditions in the Bristol Channel can be treacherous, LMSLSC provides continuous voluntary service on the beach.The club is located at the beach in Llantwit Major and we provide a voluntary lifeguard service and first aid point.LMSLSC has a high standing in the local community providing sport and education from nippers to masters.

THE OBJECTS OF THE DORSET COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION ARE TO FACILITATE AND ARRANGE SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH PROVIDING SERVICES SUCH AS TRAINING, EDUCATION, ADVICE, EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT, ON-TO-ONE SUPPORT, HEALTH & WELL BEING AND VARIOUS COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF BENEFICIARIES TO THE LOCAL PEOPLE.

We are a Community Centre operating in the Warbreck Ward area of North Liverpool, social, education and leisure opportunities for the community. The activities we offer are; senior citizens activities, health/well being events, learning circles, adult education classes, social activities and community resource for local residents groups

The charity operates out of the Rollercity Centre in Rochdale. Current activities provided include skating sessions to the public for all age groups , skate school for all age groups to learn to skate, of personal 1:1 skate tuition , dance on skates training and skate fitness sessions.

WWBC provides its members and visitors with the facilities to pursue lawn bowls activity, this enables participants the opportunity for healthy recreation. A full playing programme is organised, catering for all skill levels, from beginner to experienced player. Coaching is available. Open days are organised for the public to join "taster" sessions. All equipment is provided free.

Delivering sport and physical exercise, community welfare projects together with nature-based activities to address health and wellbeing in the community

To have resources available for expenditure on improvements to the quality of life and the engenderment of espirit de corps. The fund continues to support sporting and leisure activities. It also provides a central bank for a number of Service and other funds.
